please pray for my Dude

I had to take my precious boy Dude in to the vets today
He had not been feeling well for a few days and yesterday he would not eat all all
I took him into the vet this morning and tests and x-rays were done
His kidneys are failing
the vet is hoping the kidney failure is being caused by an infection and that is what is causing the kidney failure
his urine has been tested and I will find out the results tomorrow if it is an infection
if it is an infection he will be put on antibiotics and IV and hopefully the infection will be flushed out of his system
Please prayer for my precious Dude and please pray that this is indeed the cause of his kidneys failing
because the alternative is something I can not bear to think of

Thers a Contingent Of Pet Angels coming to look after Poor Dude,and bring him a Kitty Bag to help keep his strenghth up.
We are praying as hard as we can that Dude will be himself very soon.

thanks all so much for the kind words and prayers for my dude
I went to see him this afternoon and he had an iv hooked up to his little front paw,, the urine results had come in and it is a RODS infection
is what it is called.... it is a severe infection and they figure that is what is causing the kidneys to fail... he is on fluids and anitbiotics and they are hoping this will flush the infection out of his system
the vet says his one kidney is quite swollen.......
the vet was hoping this is what the cause was and not cancer
A few more test results are to come in and the vet is going to call me tomorrow monring,, I pray nothing else is found to be wrong and this infection gets cleared up,,,,,

I will keep you updated.. I will go visit dude tomorrow and tell him about all you terrific people and how your all praying for my precious furry little man
