Many of you may now that I've recently adopted a new furry-friend - NeelixKat!! :D
I told you then about his weeping eye - I was worried it could be a symptom of a major disease.
The vet told me that it was a virus infection (Feline Herpes Virus, FHV), non-fatal, non-contagious, just like herpes in humans. I felt very relieved.... It just need a bit extra-care and extra-love, so no problem, I'm just glad I can give him both :D :D
Anyway, I made my own research on the Web, and thought I could share the links with all of you, just in case...
http://www.eyevet.info/herpes.html
http://www.animaleyecenter.com/Journals/V1N1.html
These sites www.eyevet.org (http://www.eyevet.org)(also www.eyevet.info (http://www.eyevet.info) ) and www.animaleyecenter.com (http://www.animaleyecenter.com) provide valuable information on eye diseases, for cats and dogs
Hope it's useful (or even better, that you don't have to ever use them!! :) )
