Went to Italy to visit with my folks the last 2 weeks of December.

The Vesuvius... is the volcano that erupted and cover the city of Pompei.

Sorrento is a city on the other side of the gulf of Naples that was created from the action of a bradisism. That is, the elevation of the level of land. It was pushed UP may feet.

It means fat meatball in Italian. :D

ACTUALLY, the one on the left, Umberto (I call him Alby) will come visit me at the end of the summer 06. He turns 19 in a few day! He speaks pretty good English too. :)
