Just some pictures I took today and yesterday of my little team. Deuce has worked his butt off all weekend. He hates the mere idea of being left behind so he's run three days in a row. The first day was a disaster, but the last two runs have gone very smoothly.

My good dogs. Taken this afternoon. I'd gone to see if we could get across a little ravine and river and turned around to see this. Such well behaved dogs. Probably helped that they had run 15km or so by this point! The dogs are from the leaders back--Mac & Pingo, Hobo, Pacer & Ozzy, Franklin and Deuce.

Deuce on Sunday afternoon, after getting all tangled up with a loose dog. Fortunately the stupid little off-leash mutt got out of the team without injury and none of my dogs were injured while tangled up.

Deuce and Franklin this afternoon. Seriously frosty boys!

Deuce after we got home this afternoon. He was tired today. Near the end of the run he actually let his tug line go slack, something I've never seen him do before! A tired Deuce is a good dog! He's still laying in pretty much the same spot working on that bone 2 hours after I took the pic.

As usual, more details about their training can be found in my blog.

Wow that first picture is breathtaking. You live in a beautiful part of the world, and your pups are gorgeous too.

Great pictures! There's my buddy Deuce! ;) ...Glacier, I'm curious, you still use the ATV and say you don't have enough snow. How much is enough?

I need enough to set a snow hook. There's enough right now for the sled to slide, but IMO, it's still dangerous to run on. There's still spots with rocks, tree roots, stumps ect sticking out. If something happened, there's no way to stop them and hold them in place. I carry a rope(snub line) with me, but emergencies never happen right beside a place to tie off! There are a few places now where I could run, another couple inches would do it to go right from the yard.

I tried the sled on Saturday with just a little four dog team. It was ugly!

Thanks for the reply Glacier. :) I'll keep hoping for more snow for you, we have none here right now, and I love snow! :D

Great pictures. :D Deuce sure is a handsome guy. I am glad to hear that you were finally able to wear him out. It sounds like he is enjoying his lounging with his bone as much as he enjoyed his runs.
What a great bunch of doggies you have. :)
