Convertions:http://www.convert-me.com/en/

Dictionary: http://dictionary.reference.com/

World clock: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

Maps: http://www.multimap.com/home.html

itools (http://www.itools.com/)

My favorite - I use it often. It has just about everything you would find in the reference section at the library - either at itools or on a link from there :)

Here's my favorite for quick translations (now owned by Yahoo, I guess):

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/

You can chose from several different From/To combinations.

You can also do the conversions on old Country and Western songs!;)

Sixteen KiloNewtons

Some people say a man is made outta mud
A poor man's made outta muscle and blood
Muscle and blood and skin and bones
A mind that's a-weak and a back that's strong

You load sixteen kilonewtons, what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

I was born one mornin' when the sun didn't shine
I picked up my shovel and I walked to the mine
I loaded sixteen kilonewton of number nine coal
And the straw boss said "Well, a-bless my soul"

You load sixteen kilonewton, what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

I was born one mornin', it was drizzlin' rain
Fightin' and trouble are my middle name
I was raised in the canebrake by an ol' mama lion
Cain't no-a high-toned woman make me walk the line

You load sixteen kilonewton, what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

If you see me comin', better step aside
A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died
One fist of iron, the other of steel
If the right one don't a-get you
Then the left one will

You load kilonewton tons, what do you get
Another day older and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don't you call me 'cause I can't go
I owe my soul to the company store

I've updated these links, slightly, but what I was looking for, was a thread with recipes where I know there is a conversion from "1 cup of" to grams, and what an ounce of this or that is. Anyone remember the thread?

Can anyone tell me for sure the postage to send a postcard from the U.S. to Canada?

I went to the U.S. Postal Service official international price calculator site, and it says 85 cents, which is the letter postage to Canada. Is it the same for postcards? I went to a number of different sites that Google listed for me, but I couldn't find an answer.

Thanks!

I doubt there's much of a difference in rates, best thing to do would be to go to the window at your local PO.

That's what I did when I was sending out my PT cards! It's a little out of the way to get to, though.
