I took Austin out to the other pasture today, and let him run around a bit, I didnt plan on taking any pictures, but I did, or course, and I thought I would share them, sorry for the distance on some of them!

Those are pretty pics! Your horse is very pretty. Does it snow there where you live regulary? I don't know anything about Minnesota since I live in Portland Oregon.. where it snows maybe once a year if lucky. When I grow up I want to move somewhere where it snows way more!!

Yes, it does snow here frequently in the winter, usually from the end of November - late March or so we get snow almost everyday. It is very rare that you go through a week without it snowing at least 3 times. :) I like the weather this winter, it has been very warm, (20-30 degress F) which is WONDERFUL! Usually at this time of year, it is about -20 degress! The animals LOVE the warm weather, and have so much energy!

Austin does that too, not to me though, but to the dogs. :o last year, he kicked Maggie when she was running behind him and broke her jaw, and it was just hanging from her head. And this year, Austin and Cisco were running around in the pasture, and I was video tapping them, and Austin ran right over Autumn, I got it on video camera, but she was fine, and contiuned to chase them :rolleyes:

Yes, Austin LOVES the other pasture, as does Cisco. We just fenced it in last spring, and they got so much grass in there, than in the other one, so whenever we go over to that one, they just love it. They smashed down all the snow in their other pasture (2-3 acres) and so now it got icy so I wanted to give Austin a chace to go for a run without me rideing him. Later that day, we let Cisco in that pasture, with Austin, and he jumped the fence :rolleyes: it must have seemed really short, because of all the snow.

What breed of horse is he??

He is a quater horse, but he isnt registered. Actually, the previous owners said that he was part paint, and that he could be registered as a paint, but then he never got his coloring (white spots) so he never got to be registered. So i guess he is QuarterHorse/ Paint ;)
