We can finally get rid of the $hit Box YAY!! Everything was going on it, to the point we don't like driving in it at all. It leaks oil, other fluids, the emg. breaks are shot so there is a stupid light going off all the time & the smell is HORRID!! OMG its a mix of rotting carpet, ash tray & death!

Since Tom got a job with AMD & has to drive 50km to work (well Rob will drive him, cause Tom refuses to get behind the wheel), we need a car that can go that far & be reliable.

The guys went car shopping & found a 2004 Grand AM GT Pontiac 4door (with owner history & reason it was sold), with 16k km on it, full warenty, mp3 player, power locks & doors, & AC!! Tom was able to get the loan for the money to get the car & Tom just has to sign some papers for the loan & then the car & its OURS!!!

We are sooo excited & we're happy that the free car has lasted just long enough until we could afford a new one. Tom happy that he'll have it paid in full by summer & then we can go to Romania YAY!!!

Looks something like this, but red & not stupid tail fin

Growing up with my dads strict car/truck care, I know I can make it last a long long time. My dad had his 1988 GMC Serria (sp?) to 2003, it was still in great condition & had over 300, 000km on it! We took it to PEI 4 times & thats a 2000km trip there & then a nother 2000km back :) He only sold it cause he had no where to put it once he moved to PEI :( So Frankie Baby II, is prob being miss treated somewhere :( Ya we named the truck hehe

Another reason we loved the turck so much hehehe

Congratulations, king2005! I'm leasing a new one myself. I have a 2006 Chevy Colbalt. It's a silver four door with just about everything, including a radio with CD and can play MP3s. Like your old car , my 1994 Cutlass had a ton of problems. Blown head gasket, cracked head, bad brakes, broken radio, couldn't drive it more than a mile without all the warning lights coming on. I'm VERY happy with my Colbalt!

Congrats! I had that same exact car! I loved it, but one word of caution that I didn't find out til too late: be VERY careful of blind spots with this car. VERY careful. Don't try to do too much passing, etc because you will miss sooooo many people because this car has a huge blind spot. I was doing too much highway driving and after several near death experiences (thank God I and the other drivers had quick reflexes) I traded it in.

Not to be a downer -- I just wanted you to be as happy as you can be with the car and keep it fresh and new for as long as possible :)

If not for the blindspots, I ADORED the car. It drove great, the instrument panel was sooo easy to read. The heat/AC vents were beyond cool. I was able t o cram almost anything into the trunk. Great car!

Thanks everyone & thanks for the warning. I told Rob & it didn't seem to bother him because they said the first car he drove was far worse.

When we get the car were taking insurance photos of it & the whole house (update)
