I was searching for something completely different, but came across these pictures. I especially like no. 5.

Wow, they are beautiful! Now I can't wait for a major snow and see what types of photos I can get.

Wow, that reminds me of Lapland!:D

We haven't had any snow yet, there's been some in the north-east, but i'm in the north-west and it never quite reached Lancashire:rolleyes: We usually get ours in January though, last year we even got it in February and March!:)

I wonder if new birdies will take up residence here in the spring.

Pjevs has got his very own Christmas tree, right outside his house. :D

Those are lovely, Randi! Reminds me of parents' pics of winter in Norway and Sweden! I love yours best of all, though!:)

Beautiful settings. #5 is pretty & I like #6 also. :) Just wondering....
Is there no place for people to store their bikes inside?

Lizbud, there are two cellars to put bikes in - I usually do in winter, but I still haven't, and but most don't, because it's a pretty steep way down and quite awkward. A lot of young people have moved in in recent years, so that means even more bikes, and also these ones, in which they put their children and groceries.

There are smarter ones, but you get the idea. ;)

Thanks for sharing those, Randi! Those are some great winter pics. I kind of miss the snow here and keep hoping we have a big snowfall but then again...I don't miss it at all! :D

Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures with us. :D I kind of miss seeing snow but I sure don't miss the cold. While I visiting my brothers family, I met a woman from Denmark and she was very happy to be spending her Christmas in CA where it was much warmer. :)

Wow! That is some serious snow! I don't think I could live in that much of it. I like #6. Any time you want lots of good snow pics, go to images on google. That's what I was doing yesterday here at work since it was way too busy for anything else. It kind of calmed me. I love looking at snow pics. The way the trees are transformed into icy beauty.
