We finally went out and bought an Ikea bookcase for all my books and magazines. I think from the pics below, Nakita has officially been named the Ikea Cat Inspector

Ok, now move it a little to the left...

I will have to see if My Contractor will build something for The Found Cats like that,I think that they would love to have something like that to play in.

It looks like that official shelf inspector is doing a very fine job. The shelf looks very sturdy, with lots of space to hide in....etc. Now the people can enjoy the shelf too...since it did pass the inspection  :D

What a LOVELY inspector.

Off to IKEA to order something that requires Nakita to come to my house to inspect it. ;)

Of course you needed someone VERY intelligent to read the instructions ;)

That bookcase looks great- with all the baskets down there.

Nakita -
As always you are simply stunning. Very helpful too!

Perhaps mommy and daddy should shop more often at Ikea so we can see more pictures of you inspecting? ;)

Nakita, you did a WONDERFUL job of supervising and inspecting!!! The shelves look fantastic and so do you!!!

We have that exact same shelving system, only ours is used as a room divider. The boys use it as a shortcut from one side to the other. There is something they enjoy about going thru the cubbyholes!

Nakita, you are a purfect IKEA-controller!! If I were you, I'd send them one of this pics, and apply for the internal controller job!! You would pass with flying colours!!
What a great bookcase, it even has room for cats!!

I might just do that Lut! Maybe Nakita could be Ikea's new mascot. ;)

Nakita, what a good IKEA-inspector your are! Nobody should buy a piece that's not kitty-proof! :)

It's nice to see that the bookcase passed Nakita's inspection.
It's also nice to see some new photos of Inspector Nakita. ;)

Does anyone else find that you always have one screw for the last corner that won't go through because it won't quite align? All my IKEA pieces have three screws/bolts in three perfectly aligned corners and one empty partially occluded hole in the fourth corner!

Now, perhaps if I got my cats to inspect and assemble it (after translating the instructions from Siamese or whatever...)

Well done Nakita, it looks great and so do you. Now, which cubby hole did I see that packet of cat biscuits in? :p
