How cute. Are they finally starting to get along better? I hope so. They sure do look cute together.

Outside they are doing great together. But Mickey still acts like he's like.. almost afraid of her inside and doesn't really do anything when she pisses him off.. he still runs away from her inside. I hope it improves soon!

Mickey and Molly are so cute. I love Molly's eyes. They are so cute. Mickey is so handsome. Will you have to get rid of Molly if things don't improve? I HOPE NOT! :(

We will see.. if Mickey is still a mess of jealousy by next Wednesday (when the two week trial is up) then yes, we must return her. :(

My Dad reassured me that we won't return her, but my Mom doesn't want her as much anymore because people keep saying they see Husky because of the eyes and ears.

'Scue me, but, I think BC's can have upright ears and odd eyes.

show her a piicture of a pure bred collie up up right ears and blues eyes, she'll soon change her mind, its not just huskies that have blue eyes...
i hope you get to keep her shes so cute mickey will improve in time

EYES: One more word, on Border Collie eyes. Most common in black-based dogs are dark brown eyes. But Border Collies of any color can have blue eyes, or one blue eye, like Josie, left. This latter is often referred to as "wall-eyed". Black-based dogs can also have amber eyes, but eyes of this color are most often found in red dogs. Blue dogs often have green eyes or grey eyes. In other words, eyes can be just about any color, and are not important for identifying the breed of a dog. Since Border Collies come in such a wide variety of colors and patterns, going on body shape, head and muzzle shape, and ear and tail carriage is much more important for identification. And most important of all is behavior.

I personally don't see any husky in her at all. (husy ears are usually much smaller too, you can mention that to your mom).

Mickey and Molly are so cute together! I hope they get along ok soon, sometimes it just takes awhile! :)

Thanks for mentioning that! I didn't know that they were smaller than Molly's sattelite dishes. :D

If huskys had tall ears like that they'd get frosbit really easily, not a good thing for an artic breed. lol

Border collies often have one or both eyes blue, and eyes of two different colors was once considered an asset for a working collie, as it was thought that one of the eyes controlled the sheep close up, and one controlled the sheep at a distance.

Mickey is so handsome!! I hope he learns to tolerate his little sister soon...Molly is gorgeous, I LOVE her eyes, she is such a doll!
