I still don't know what the hubby and I are doing, but he's hunting during the day so I imagine he'll be pretty tired. We might just hang at home this year - we haven't done that in years. We were invited to a couple parties, which is what we usually do, but I might like to ring in the new year with the furries :D What are you guys doing?

I too usually go out and was also invited to a few parties this year. But this year I'm pretty sure I'll be staying at home. This year the parties I was invited to are either further away or there is no where to stay for the night (I'm too cheap to splurge on a motel room this year, I'm saving my money for better things). I don't want to be on the road not only because I would like to have a couple drinks but also because of the other drunk maniacs that will be on the road.

My friend Joe is coming over & we're trying to find other people too (most of my friends are actually out of town this holiday season). We're going to have a really nice dinner & some wine.

But if something really exciting comes up that means no driving I may venture out. It's not looking that way though.

I'm going with my Aunt to an agility trial in Indiana :D I'm so excited, I get to run her dog Robby! However this will be the first year I will be away from my family for the new year, it'll be a bit different.

I'm going to stay home and watch movies and make popcorn. :) Chica loves to lay on my lap while I watch movies.People are crazy drivers on the road, and there are to many shootings and car jacks.I don't risk my life for parties on New Years anymore!!!. The reality of crime gets to me!!!!! :( :)

We haven't decided yet. We often have a few friends over to our house so we may go that way. Ralph's aunt has also invited us there, so that is a possiblity.

I am going to the PLAYBOY MANSION!

And as soon as I post bail I will be home to have a drink!!

Nothing, A quiet evening at home with a DVD and a few drinks...

Plus, it is supposed to rain on the Rose Parade..which sucks because they usually have a B-1 bomber fly over the start.....while it waits for the fly over it does laps over the valley....one year it had an F-117 escort....and they flew over the house on the way to the parade!

It will be pretty busy and hectic here!! My hubby has 4 sisters. So each year we take turns: this year it is my turn to host the "party".
Well, it is not really a party. We have a long good dinner together. We play fungames, or look at old picture-albums. At midnight we all kiss each other (3 kisses each) and wish everybody a happy new year. Then we exchange presents :) . The evening is a full of fun and chitchat; we sometimes act really hilarious! I want to learn how to salsa dance so bad but I can't find a partner.

I haven't really been home or celebrated the new year as a holiday since 97'- 98' and this year was supposed to be no different. I was supposed to go to my dad and stepmom's house yesterday morning but the night before last I woke up and threw up. I couldn't even keep down a sip of water, I was Puking up bile. Of course the 10:30 AM flight was NOT going to happen so my dad is on his way here to see me tonight. As usual, after 24 hourse I'm almost all the way better.
I'm prone to flus and throwing up :( I'm just glad I'm not a horse or I would have died a long time ago! :p

Suki Wingy,

There is nothing worse than being sick on a holiday! I hope you feel better soon!!

I'm going to my best friend's condo for the night. We'll drink non-alcoholic champagne (it's actually really good and I can trick myself into buzz).

Happy New Year everyone! Have a safe, fun and memorable New Year!!

This year, I'm going to my friend Mike's house. He's having a small shindig with some friends, and his family is just completely awesome. So I'll be hanging out there until 1 or 2. He lives seconds from me, so I don't have to worry about being crashed into by drunk maniacs, and I won't be drinking so I'm completely fine. I hope to get lots of pictures, yay!!! :)

Staying home with my hubs and furbabies. I'm making a nice salmon dinner for all of us (Star and Sherms will love that!) then he'll probably watch TV and I will be on the computer--I'm sure I'll be checiking out Pettalk! And of course kisses & hugs at midnight.
PLEASE DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.
BE SAFE, AND GOD BLESS YOU IN THE NEW YEAR!

Our plains have changed as our friend called late lastnight to tell us hes sick, but wants to celebrate news year at a later date (which is fine by us).

So we're gonna pig out on all the veggies we bought for the party for dinner & we ordered Pizza for lunch :)

Is today New Years Eve?... I guess so.
I suppose we won't be doing anything, then... though we usually just hang out here and make fools out of ourselves.
My sister and Mum had to go three hours away to see my Cousin in the hospital... he's in ICU. Not to mention that my aunt is having a breakdown. What a way to welcome the new year...

I hope everyone else has a great time, though! :D
