Nope, no photos, I was caught totally by surprise.

Perpicacity Purrsonality was visiting with me in the bathroom this morning when his tail somehow caught his attention. To my astonishment, for the first time in his 6 1/2 years, he began chasing it! Made rather a sloppy mess when that rascally tail led him into his waterdish, too.

Hope that your morning started with a happy laugh, too!

But did he catch it? Those pesky tails sometimes need a bit of discipline.....

Pink Nose chases his tail almost every day, and he's 7! :D

Mitzi chases her tail all the time and she never catches it :D It's SO cute, but I haven't been able to catch it on video or pics as when she's doing it I'm usually laughing too hard to hold a camera. She's so silly and cute. She's chased it to where she's fallen off the couch or the bed; never gotten into the water as she hasn't done it near the water bowls (yet) :D Gotta love 'em! :)

Scrappy 2 still chases her own tail,and then is suprised when she bites,and It Hurts! OOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWIE!!!

Poppy use to chase his tail when he was younger and Willy does it on occasion.

Pearl will still chase her tail sometimes but I always thought that this more of a dog thing than a cat thing. LOL :) Pearl will catch it and she'll even start biting it. It looks like it would be painful. ;)

Awww, wish I could have seen that! I love it when an "older" kitty gets a wild hair and starts playing like a kitten again! :D

It's great when they suddenly do something that they have never done before. My morning did start with a smile, when both Sam and Daisy jumped on the bed looking for cuddles, or was it breakfast ...

I'm sure it was cuddling! Although my two are fond of cuddles in the near proximity of food or treat bowls!
