I was just wondering what type of dogs your family or relatives have.
Aunt/Uncle-Greyhound
Cousins-A Golden and A Great dane
Other cousin-Cocker spaniel
Other aunt or uncle-I THINK they have a Bichon and a Doxie. I am not sure.
Grandparents(all of them are dead:()-Coonhound and poodle.
Before my mom was married-Irish Setter and a Jack Russell cross.
Before my parenst were married my dad-Fox terrier
When they first got married-Shana. A Lapsa Opso(Dunno how to spell it.)

There are lots of Shih Tzus in my family. There are some mixed breeds, a couple Chihuahuas, a Lab, some Yorkies, and ... I think that's it. My family consists of a lot of little dogs ... I like them BIG (wonder where I got that from :p ).

Yeah, unfortunately, they're all brats! Maylynn is the only one who doesn't growl/bark at your every movement. Hence the reason Maylynn is my favorite. The rest all yap 24/7. :p My grandma wants a bigger dog and always tells me she wants one of mine, but my grandpa doesn't want a big one so she has 3 little ones instead. :p

My grandma actually brought Angel over yesterday. She was growling and yapping at Nala - 5 or so pounds VS 60++ pounds, and Nala was running away scared. :eek:

Actually, I've never met Annabelle. She lives with my aunt and uncle who live in Northern FL. My aunt owns a grooming salon up there and wants me to come and work in her shop for a week or so - so hopefully soon i'll meet her. :D

I am so unlucky. NONE of my relatives have pets:( :( :( My dad's parents used to have a cat called Puddles when i was very young, but he passed on when i was about six. No other relatives in my family have ever had pets whilst i have been alive. Only in my family household have we ever had pets. The rest of my family cannot understand why we keep them, especially Tia, my rat:( :rolleyes: I've always relied on my own and friends' or neighbours' pets.

My parents had a yorkie for over 15 years, he passed away 6? months ago. My mom and sister want to adopt a schnauzer from a rescue, but my dad isn't ready yet. Amy's (wolf_Q) Sidney is exactly what they want, in the way of looks anyway. Looks aren't everything though, so who knows if that's what they'll get.

My sister-in-law had a cocker mix that passed away this year too (cancer). My S-I-L is pregnant and moved back in with her parents, so she's not going to get another dog right now. She has a cat though.

My cousin-in-law has a great dane.

My cousin has a dog named Gator, but I've never met him, I don't even know what kind of dog it is. I haven't seen my cousin in years.

My grandma & grandpa has had 3 dogs that I've known. They had Tasha and Bingo, one was an australian shepherd and the other was a sheltie. They were very close, when Bingo died Tasha really morned for him. She passed away not too long after that. My grandma & grandpa later got a black lab, Ace. He was 14 years old when he died. My grandpa died a couple years before Ace died, my grandma hasn't gotten another dog and I don't think she will. Ace and my grandpa were inseparable. Ace was even allowed in the church at my grandpa's funeral.

I really don't know if any of my other family has any dogs. I think my great-uncle has a dog, but I haven't seen him in years. When I was little he had a white shepherd and a rottweiler, but that was years ago.

Vizla/Pit mix is probably a VERY hunky dog. Tia, is so beautiful. I don't understand why people hate rats so much. It annoys me because my friend had a rat and they are so sweet! Thanks for posting everyone! It's helping me get to know your families better. :D

I would be able to cover a lot more breeds, but right now most of my family does not own dogs, including a lot of people/families that did before. Here goes:

Parents... none, but looking for a hound that would be my dad's drug drug for his jail and when he goes on raids, etc. And my mom is looking for a newfoundland. The kids still at home have an Australian Shepherd mix who's older than dirt.
One sister and her family--- mystery mutt, probably has some heeler in him.
Another sister and family--- Husky mix, and a Newfoundland.
Yet another sister--- Black and tan coonhound.
ANd I have a mutt, and will probably be back into Beagle ownership pretty soon :D .

Sadly, I'm the only big pet lover in my family except my mom, who just has a cat and spoils my pets rotten. :)
I do have one aunt and uncle who have a dacshund who's 12. However, I'm known as the animal lover in the family and everyone expected me to become a veterinarian, but I'm squemish about blood so as much as I like animals I didn't go for that!

Uncle: a beagle (Brandy, she's blind, but she gets around good)

Aunt/Uncle: Three Chihuahuas (Brutus, Princess, and Boots... They took Princess in after my grandmum died.)

My grandparents don't have any pets, although one side used to have a Border collie mix.

And on my mom's side, there are no pets whatsoever. :confused: :p
