My wonderful Christmas Present...

Meet Ace!:D

This is our new baby boy.... My Christmas Present. He is a German sheperd/Lab Mix. And is six weeks old. His Momma was a tiny, Black Lab, and his Papa was the German Sheperd! We have a very good feeling about Ace because he acts and looks JUST like Duke when he was a pup. He should be about 50-80 pounds, around Duke's size. He is a great dog and hasn't pottied in the house once!! And sleeps a lot.:)

Max, was "Rehomed" for his sake. He got way to big for our yard. And was supposed to get bigger. He needed more land, that we didn't have. Ace shouldn't grow that huge. Thanks for wishing us luck, And thanks everyone for welcoming Ace.:)

I was going to ask about Max, but I just read the posts... just wondering, how do you know how large this puppy will get? With mixed breeds, there is generally no telling. My sister adopted a tiny Lab mix pup at 6 weeks, who is now over 100 lbs, extremely tall and pure muscle. GSD's can easily grow in excess of 100 lbs as well as Labs, especially since his Dad was very large. Just an FYI, I hope he's not too much for you to handle when he grows up. I also hope his parents will be speutered, when there are sooo very many Lab mix pups in shelters everywhere.

OMG! What a cutie! I think I may have figured out my Logan's mix. Same type of ears and white paws..hmm... Ace sounds like he's going to be a real smartie pants too! He's just lovely! Good luck and have lots of fun!
