Any pittie owners in here?

I just love pitbulls, i think they are gorgeous and deserve a better rap. my mother is a unintended breedist, 1 expieriance & media makes her see pitts as viscious. so i try not to talk to anyone about them but people i know online. somtimes i do think i could get a pup when i'm much older, on my own.

anyone have any pictures or good stories they could share?
i'd really appreciate it. :)

We have lots of pittie and pittie crosses on this board . And breedisim is something most of us dislike. I have freinds who have thm I have 2 Newfy crosses. Lady Is a golden /newfie Dugan is a newfy/chow.

This is all I've got for the big mean pit bull. So sorry we couldn't be any
meaner. Does she really need MAXIMUS' story? Well....he gets really chompy on
the sticks you throw or he really gets the fur on his lovey toys all a wreck.
What does she really need to know? Yeah, he can get really nasty with
an empty bottle. He really has no mercy for them. What else does she need to know? Just let us know. We can tell all the "ugly" details. Why not hear it, right from a pit bulls mouth?

MAXIMUS is always the cutest darling of a guy!! I really like pit bulls, I doubt I will ever own one because I am not good with dominent dogs, but they are a wonderful, gorgous breed. They really do deserve better. My dad is also breedist against pit bulls. :(

I someday hope to have a pittie too. My husband and I both like them. My husband lived with his aunt for awhile when he was a kid and he had a pit bull there.

I have an almost nine month old pittie Ebony and a 2 year old pit mix Jada. They are both wonderful dogs! Ebony is so smart and loving. She loves everyone she meets. :) Here is a picture of the two of them.

With Ebony, I use the nothing in life is free. She has to sit before she eats, she sits when she gets treats she gets her treat last. I make her sit before she can go outside. I walk her a lot around other people and dogs. I always crate her when we go somewhere for her safety. Pit bulls are really smart and so willing to learn. You have to show them you are the top dog of the house. I have had no problems at all with Ebony. She is so sweet and loving. My mom was a lot like your mom is but since we have gotten Ebony she has changed her mind a lot about pit bulls. :) Here are a couple more pictures to show your mom that they are not monsters.....

I just love Maximus, Jada, and Ebony! :) I am a big pit bull lover myself and after I do my research, I hope to have one someday. :)

I have a mix! He is tick marked. Most people don't belive me when I say he is but you really have to live with him and watch the way he acts. He is full terrier.

i just moved into a house with my friends and they have a 3 pits as of now......jade, chaos, and blitz..........
i used to have a rottie named rayne

those dogs are the most loving dogs....i would never pass up a chance to have one
