Hey guys,

As usual, I can't stay on the net for long (gah, I HATE not having my own comp!) but just thought I'd pop in and say hey. Spike's settling in great, the other dogs love him. I've never had a dog bond so closely and so quickly with me, he follows me everywhere, including the toilet, but he isn't possessive of me at all. And he learns so quickly! Here's what I've been teaching him this week. (sorry for the terrible pic quality, was using the cheapo camera!)

He's so handsome! He must be very well trained. Nova is the only one of my three that will do that, but I'm working on it with the other two.

Heh. Well, this was the first time he's tried anything like this, I've had him less than 2 weeks, and he never tried anything like this in his old home, 'sit' and 'down' were pretty much the only things he knew. Like I said though, he's a fast learner.

The other dogs already know how to do this (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=56923&highlight=treats)

how do you teach him to do that? I would LOVE it if Pandy did that - she sits pretty and eats the treat as soon as I set it down! Please share your knowledge! lol
