Nothing, yet. I usually put a few treats in there for them to pull out.

Right now there are 25 or so wrapped gifts under the tree, as well as a huge plastic stocking full of around 15 toys - all for The Muttlies.

Not gonna tell what's in the stockings...it's a surprise, LOL. Recently adopted Sandy, a yellow lab pup, so it's her first snow and Christmas. She loves her big sister, Brit, an Aussi mix. Brit KNOWS what SANTA and STOCKINGS and TREATS mean, but Sandy doesn't...and ooooooooh, so curious about this STOCKING/TREAT thing going on......

I got Bijou a treat ball, though it won't fit in her stocking (interestingly, I can't find it among all my hidden bags of Christmas things...hmmm...I wonder if I thought I bought it but didn't? Time to check some receipts!!)

I also got her a big new Nylabone:

and a cute little Giggler toy:

I do want to get her something yummy to tuck in her stocking, but I haven't chosen that yet. I need a treat that will take her some time to get through, but that won't be too rich for her!

**How funny (to me, anyway, lol!)...I checked my receipts and I can't see the treat ball listed anywhere! I must have thought I'd tucked it into my shopping cart, but never actually did! Next time I shop, for sure!

I bought him a GIANT stocking filled with toys and today I went to Target and bought him a $1 stuffed toy and then a box that had a mini football, mini soccer ball and a mini basketball (meant for humans but he'll play with them).

Plus whatever his Grandmother, Aunt & Cousin buy him.

He's been a very good boy this year.

His stocking has a bag of treats, a bag of chew sticks, and a couple furry mice cat toys (he likes to chase them around the house -like a cat- and then tear their fur off... I have yet to see him play with an actual dog toy... )

I'm a bda santa mommy, I don't do stocking anymore. Since I've had multiple dogs I buy their treats & toys in bulk if I can so not much of anything that I buy will fit in a stocking.
I make up for it though, I always get my pets a ton of gifts, this year I'm even going over board. lol
