If you have the time...
we just got home from the hospital...
Could use some prayers for my mother-in-law…We got a call at 4:00 AM that she was bleeding internally & they were having problems getting it stopped, due to the blood thinners she takes for her stroke/heart attack/blood clot history. The CT scan showed that the bleeding was not affecting any organs, as it was between a muscle/membrane layer…but was pooling under the skin in the abdominal area. They said that the pain would be similar to being stabbed due to all the pressure. She is purple/black from her waist to her butt all the way around. They believe that altho they have the bleeding stopped now, it will take awhile to absorb into her system, They have her on morphine for the pain & she still cannot get comfortable or sleep at all. She will not be allowed to go back on blood thinners again, & they feel the only thing they can give her now is aspirin…so it’s a wait & se game to se how it will affect her to not take blood thinners, but the alternative is to bleed out.
Thanks!!
