View Full Version : A Christmas miracle??

Maybe not a miracle, but it sure brought tears of joy to my eyes.......

I received in my email yesterday an on-line application for one of our older cats. Tiffany has been with us for several years (not sure how long) and she is at least 15 years old. She is a blue Persian, and she's a skinny old lady, living among other cats in a special shelter-like foster home. I saw her this past summer, and the summer before, to shave the mats out of her fur.

We have had other applications on her (because they read "PERSIAN", but don't bother to look at her age). So I responded to this lady in my usual, professional way. Little did I know that this person had ALREADY been talking to some of our volunteers about Tiffany. The application was a simple formality.

Our old gal Tiffany, should be in her new REAL home by Christmas. :D:D

This is what her new mom says.....
"I think that my little family of furrkids would like to give a senior a comfy retirement home"

Gosh, the LES is starting again.

I am SO happy for Tiffany! Yes, there are modern-day miracles, in all sizes, shapes, and forms. I am glad you have had the pleasure of witnessing this one yourself!

I hope that they have the Good Fortune that I had when I adopted Smokey at 17.
He was supposed to last 6 Months, but he was made from Good Stock, and he lived until he was nearly 23.
Prayers are coming for Tiffany.

What a lucky girl. She has waited a long time and deserves her furever home. It is the old ones that really pull on your heartstrings.
Congratulations Lady Tiffany.

How lovely for both the kitty and her new family.

I've adopted two seniors--Twicket was over 13 when he arrived and Kasha was 15. I didn't get very long with Twicket, just two short years, but I loved him enough for a lifetime. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat! Kasha has been a pure delight. I think there will always be room for a needy senior here! Twicket sent me Kasha and when the time comes(please God, not soon), I hope she will send me another.

What a lucky girl Tiffany is..... finally finding her furever home just in time for Christmas. I wish her a long, happy life filled with all the love and caring that she has missed for way too long. Merry Christmas, Tiffany!
