We just drew names for our department office party, and of course I picked the woman who has everything! She's an attorney's wife so she lives pretty well. The limit of the gift is $10.

Can anybody recommend a gift I can get the woman who has everything? I was thinking of a Yankee Candle but she had a stroke once and lost her sense of smell! So that's out of the question.

Help!

A picture frame?

Bath set? But I don't know you said she lost her sense of smell.

Does she collect anything?

How about a white cultured pearl necklace? You can't go wrong with real pearls. I saw these on TV the other night. Depending on when your gift exchange is, if you wait a couple days to order, they'll probably do free shipping again, too!

I've bought from them before and love them. People tell me I'm like the Wendy's commercial. I'm their unofficial spokesperson. :o

Thanks for the good suggestions. She already has pearl necklaces. The picture frame could be a good idea...I'll have to think about that one. The bath set is a definite no...this woman wears Chanel #5 and I think a $10 bath set would be chucked (though I'd use it).

Keep em coming.

Ummm....
A nice Pen or stationary set.
A small Godiva chocolate set. Sams club has one for under 14 dollars I think.
A nice hand lotion.
Some pretty kitchen towels.
A Christmas table cloth.

mmmmmmmmmm...............Godiva Chocolate. Too dangerous. Wouldn't last past my wrapping it...I'd eat it. Good suggestion though.

depending on how she dresses, you can get a nice scarf, some are very cheap, and great silky looking

Like wrapping paper and a bow's going to stop me??!! Hahahahahaha.

:D

I like the scarf idea alot. She wears scarfs. I'll have to go to TJ Max or Marshall's and look at the scarfs.

A bathing gift basket would be a great choice. They come with soaps, loofa sponge, bubble bath, etc.

One thing I got from an office party was a phot album. I have a zillion frames, but no albums. I loved it!

unless she's chesty... then she'll look at the scarf like its an alien set forth into this world to make people look MORE up at the chest region! :D :D LOL

I have been given a dozen scarves as gifts over the years and they have never even been unfolded.

But glad to hear she does wears scarves. I wish I could.... I just feel too too conscious in them.

Does she have one of those fancy scrapbooks?? you know the ones where you can keep adding pages to it & add decor to the pages.

I'd go with a pretty photo album or picture frame! Every woman like picture frames and you can never have too many albums! Especially pretty ones that you'd like to set out for everyone to see!

Now that I have gotten over my hysterical laughing fit (lawyer's wife, so she lives pretty well), I love scarves! They can always be worn with your winter coat, and as mentioned, nice ones are relatively inexpensive. Of course, if she is a tea or coffee drinker, I would go with that as a gift. A lovely lotion is nice, unscented or scented.

Picture frames work...

For next year, do as I did- opt out of the office gift giving. :D

I was thinking bath and body works until you said she can't smell. Okay, um scarves are good. I'd go with chocolates but since you'd eat it no! A nice ornament for the tree. Or maybe something else. Im not good with giufts.

Is there anything you can get her that she could use at work? Perhaps something for her desk? This was one of my favourite Secret Santa presents. The blue liquid at the bottom is more dense than the clear liquid above, so that the little frog princes always swim about in their own little sea.

I've also seen a fantastic set of 4 little magnetised handbags. Great if you use magnetic boards at work.
