I noticed that I can't paste anything I copied to yahoo mail, like when I am composing a new email. You always used to be able to. Does anyone else have this problem &/or know if or when it will be repaired?

All I have in mine is a couple of quotes, and, I just clicked on where it says "signature"...are you trying to do more than that?

I've never been able to copy and paste within Yahoo Mail.. just use the following.

Ctrl + C = Copy
Ctrl + V = Paste

:) How that helps, Sue.

Well, I always have had a problem replying to emails...not all, but, seems like most. I can compose a new one, but, sometimes just clicking on reply doesn't work. It's a pain. But, I use 'control c' (I've never been able to highlight a message and right click...I've never seen "copy" show up as an option when I did that) and then I paste it into a new message and send it that way. Because I always try to send a message as a reply first, to see if it will go through...

so, anyway, I went and tried it...it's working for me.

Poofy, maybe you've only tried to right click and copy was never there...have you tried highlighting the message and using "control c?"

lv4dogs, that's weird that it's just now not working for you...

Well, I wasn't really talking about copying the signature...you'd said you'd never been able to copy and paste in yahoo mail...that's what I was talking about. I don't think I have ever actually seen a signature (like what we have in Pet Talk) inside of a yahoo mail message...I don't know how you would go about doing that. Anyway, just wanted to clarify.

Yeah with GMail there is no "paste" in the right context menu so I just have to CTRL+C and CTRL+V everything ;)

To copy and paste to yahoo you need to have your pictures in imagestation, photo bucket one of those, you can copy and paste that way. ;)

I *think* she was just talking about text, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's still a good tip for those who want to c&p images! ♥

That works! But I wonder why the option isn't showing up. Oh well at least I know how to do it. Thanks Kay!

I don't know...I got the impression that she was wanting to actually do a signature like what we do in here, with photos. Hmm...not sure, though.

You said you used to be able to copy and paste...were you able to do it by right clicking and choosing copy? That's wild, I've never been able to do it that way before! Glad you're able to now, though! :)

I was thinking I'd tried that once before, too...maybe you need a different photo hosting site? I don't know...it's been awhile since I tried to put anything but just plain text quotes in my email signatures...good luck, though!

What about using HTML to link to images in your sigs?? Is that allowed?

ex:

<img src="url to image">

Yup, thats how I was always able to do it. I haven't needed to lately, but I did it a few months ago & it was there & worked then. So sometime within the last 2-3 months it happened.
It's weird that no one else was ever able to right click copy & paste.
