Carrots

I have discovered that our two dogs are crazy about raw carrot. Does anyone else give this to their dog(s)?

Raw baby carrots are a major dog staple around our house! They love 'em, and carrots aren't fattening like other treats are--plus they seem to help keep the teeth clean. :D

Roxey & Angus both eat carrots! Didn't think they would when I tried, but they acted like it was the greatest thing in the world. Roxey also eats just about any other kind of veggie including lettuce! But red & orange peppers are her all time favorite!

Princess and Annie LOVE baby carrots. They don't get much people food, (to my knowledge), so when offered carrots they do their tricks beautifully. They also like seedless grapes.

Raw carrots are a great treat for dogs. It helps to keep their teeth clean and it also nutralizes bad breath odor. We buy them at every trip to the grocery store!

Kia likes the cleaned baby carrots better than the raw ones.

She goes nuts over them. :)

Mine loved them for a while then got tired of them, but now the big thing they like is "french cut green beans" even I don't like them. lol

All four of my dogs love 'em! Bear will tell me when it's time for their nightly treat. Unfortunately, I have to limit him to one a day. Carrots have sugar in them and he's diabetic. He likes lettuce too.

My sister has three pugs that love carrots too. One of them likes oranges!

My Presley only likes her carrots cleaned very well and peeled. She does like loads of other fruits and veggies as well. But carrots and turnips seem to be her favorts! ;)

Star and Cody love em! As well as lots of other fruits and veggies, some paw picked (not by me!:rolleyes: ) straight from the garden! (THAT WOULD BE STAR!!) I give them several baby carrots and a few apple slices with each meal! Yum!:D

No one is ever going to be able to accuse me of not spoiling my kids enough. That's for sure!!!

I steamed carrots last night, as a matter of fact, and Scout, my parent's Lab turned her nose up at it! LOL!! :D

I alternate the raw baby carrots with Bella's doggie biscuits for her treats. She just loves them! Every morning my hubby eats a sliced up apple for breakfast and he always doles out about half of it, piece by piece, to Bella. She knows when he heads downstairs in the morning that it's apple time and she is off like a flash!

Rufus loves baby carrots! He takes them very gently and seems to savour them, not at all lab like.
