Whoo hoo, I'm excited, I dropped out of college and am doing online classes now, and I went back to the boarding kennel I used to work at, and got my job back. I'll be up, bright and early at 7 o clock tomorrow morning. There's a lot of drama there, but it's a great experience, I really love the work. I'll have to post some pictures of the dogs we get in, I only have a couple right now. Anyways, just wanted someone to share my news with. Thanks. :)

That's great! I guess my job is similar, as I work at a vet. I just love working there ... such a great experience!

Thanks. :) Actually I can post a few pictures that I still have...hmm...
This is Willow, one of the biggest mastiffs I've ever met. And guess who owned her? An elderly lady. :p

This is Junior, an Italian Greyhound. He was very nervous when he first came in, and was nearly untouchable. I brought him into the bathroom one day (the quietest place) and sat with him for about 20 minutes. By the time I walked out of there, he was jumping on me wanting to play, sitting and my lap, and coming over to me to be loved on. :)

This was a yorkie pup that was being boarded...she was such a sweetheart.

Jollie, a 15 year old Pomeranian. Such a sweet boy, I loved him to death.

Two Saint Bernards that were being boarded-both rescues, and both the most darling things.

This is Gwen. She's an older lab...somewhere between 10 and 12 I think. She started being boarded in March of 2005...the same time I started working there. And she was still there when I left last time, September of 2005. I'm not sure if she's still there, but the owners just kept making excuses about coming to get her, first it was they were rewiring their house, then it was the woman was having a baby, and she was still there. Poor thing, thats no life for a dog. The woman won't let anyone take her, either. She's had a lot of offers. :(

Poor Junior, he looks so sad in that picture! He sure is cute though. Poor Gwen :( She deserves better.

I found out that the owners allowed one of my coworkers to take Gwen. :) So she is in an awesome place.
