Rawhide bones...

...from the dollar store? Anyone ever tried them? I forget the brand name, but it was something I've never heard of. I didn't buy one becuase I was afraid to try (I usually get them at Petsmart) but they are a lot cheaper. Are they safe?

My daughter buys them for her dogs..but i get the smaller ones from walmart..dont like the plastic look of them as they are being chewed.. :confused:

I used to get them for my Rain bow Merlin . I never had any problem with them of course like all rawhides never leave them unsupervised.

I get them sometimes.
I'll buy just about anything for my pups (any brand name etc...) as long as they look good & healthy, look like most other reputable brands and have a good ingedient list.

As with ANY & ALL chew toys only give them when you are there to supervise. :D

Oh yeah, he doesn't get any rawhides without me there - especially since he likes to try to swallow the ends :rolleyes: Hubby was afraid to try one from the dollar store, but I figured why not, every once in a while :) Thanks!
