This simple box has brought them HOURS and HOURS of amusement and came with the sausage so it was free. They have had this box FOREVER, soon will be time to retire this one but I am workning on the next one already.

Those are cute pics. My cats love boxes. They love climbing in them and laying in them. They also love paper bags. And even lay in their small carrier. I dont get that one cause they only go in it when they go to their vet.

I will have to see if I can build a box like that and see if I can intrique the Cats enogh for them to play in it.
I know the Kitten Scrappy 2 will give it a go.

I find that one of the best things about being owned by a kitty is seeing how excited they get over the simplest things. No matter what we may give Groucho for Christmas or his birthday, he'll spend hours playing with the wrapping paper and boxes while the toy sits there untouched.

that has been a smart purchase. Sausage for you, and hours of enjoyment with the box for the babies. Boxes are the ultimate fun, in our house too. No matter how small the box is Max (huge cat boy) will always attempt to fit himself in, and do you know he nearly always does! :D

I couldn't agree with you more, Laura! Everyone I know who is owned by a cat says the same thing, toys for our kitties, for the most part, is a waste of money because they amuse themselves with the darndest things. But I guess being the purrents we are, we just can't resist some of those cute toys.

Here is Buddy in his "chicken box" . He loves this box, and let me say this...it is NOT the most attractive looking thing I have in my kitchen :eek: :D , but it is for him (and Abby too) and he enjoys it so much. ;) It is really pathetic that when I go to Costco, I always look to see what kind of good kitty box I could use.... :eek: for them :D
