My XMAS Kitties

Hi

I put up the christmas tree yesterday, Thanksgiving day. Three of my kitties are kittens. This was there first Christmas tree. They had so much fiun wiht it. They really enjoyed laying imder it along with my 1 and a half yr old kitty.

Awww! Meowmie, you put that up for US??? :eek: What a wonderful Meowmie you are!!! :D

They do enjoy those trees, have the water bottle handy for when they try to climb it. That is how Rie broke Annie but she still chews on ribbons and paper under the tree so be careful of what you use. Rie just learned to skip bows altogether.

I remember when Smokie brought down the Tree when I was young and broke several Irreplacable ornaments,handed down two generations to my Dear Mother.
I hate to think what they would be worth now.
My Dear Mother made sure Smokie was all right,and said to my brothers and I,that Smokie is a Creature of God,and worth more than any ornament ever made.
I know that my Dear Mother was hurt,but her love of Smokie prevailed.
I hope that Your Kittens are careful around thier Tree!

How sweet! So far, I have one HUGE 16 pound boy climbing the tree like he did ast year when he was 5 pounds..... he doesn't quite understand that he's too big this year!

I have two kittens that seem more interested in tasting the branches than anything, and seem too terrified to climb it. Just wait til the realize they can climb the tree!

I spoke to soon that my kitties would not climb the tree. About a half hour ago I caught Karina climbing all the way to near the top of my 7 ft tree. I wouldnt be surprised if they did it yesterday while we were out for our Thanksgiving celebrations. Heres some pics of the kitty up in the tree.

Cuteness overload warning is definietly needed here. Karina is so darn cute surveying her surroundings from the safety of her tree branch. That would make such a great Christmas card!

My cats LOVE when we put a tree up. They all sit under it...and pretend they are in the forest.
