November 2000 the weekend of Thanksgiving we brought our dear Thumper home from PetSmart. ;)
We saw her on the day before Thanksgiving but the county shelter wasnt open late in afternoon. At that time they show cased cats from the shelter at PetSmart. You had to go there to shelter to do paper work and pay. So we went up Friday to visit her (shelter was closed all day) and were there at 7:45 a.m. to pick her up on that Saturday. It was first come, first serve at shelter so we made sure to be there super early. A gal and her mom were there also and we all were relieved that we werent trying for the same cat. :)
It takes us 40 mins (one way) to get there so it was quite an adventure for us. We left at 6:30 a.m. to make sure we got there early. :) :)

Thumper, you must be very, very special for your parents to go that far and that early to make sure to get you. :)

Happy Gotcha Day! I'm looking forward to adoption day tomorrow; we usually clean up on holiday weekends for some reason.

I think Thumper deserves extra treats today.
