The "old timers" have seen this picture one zilllllllllllllllion times!:D It is an oldie but a goodie though!!:D:D:D Randi, this is my younger doggie kid, my yellow Labbie whose name is Star, a.k.a. "Star***Shine (because she lights up my life:)) My other doggie is a Husky/Shep named Cody, who is 6. This is her "award winning" puppy pic. She is now a big girl, three years old! And Pam, I have been SO frustrated, not being able to post pics. directly onto PT anymore. Attachments just arent' the same. And Photogra. rejects most of the pic. files I try to upload as too large, they won't let us post images directly, etc. Very frustrating!!! My kids just aren't getting enough "air time!;)) SO, I'm always on the hunt for a new site. I noticed KayAnn posts tons of nice size images directly and I checked out the site she uses....www.imagestation.com by Sony. So far, so good! AND, I didn't read anything in the agreement that would prohibit us from posting on websites! Nice upload tools (install the drop and drag option; it's the quickest) albums can be made public, they have guestbooks for your albums, etc. Check it out! And Randi, thanks for the link! We need as many backup sites as we can get! And Star says thanks for your kind words! She is quite the attention seeker!!!:)

oh they are sooooo soooo cute. Now I'm really wishing that I could have puppy picks of the royals ;) but I got Smudge when he was 4 mnths so just getting out of that faze...though he still looks like a puppy at times just a little fatter and bigger, and Winter was almost 1 so there's no chance of ever seeing what she was like as a puppy, I'll settle for her being a little lady instead.

Thanks guys. I think it's time for me to update my photo album though! I havent' been taking/posting as many pics. lately as we all keep getting "shut down" by all these photo storage sites! And, I keep telling myself I WILL get, and learn to use, a digital camera!:rolleyes: But, indulge me one more, as Star is no longer a puppy, and I think she is due a "before and after" shot!:D Plus, I've been trying in vain, and with GREAT frustration, to post pics. on the Labforum board. (Heresey, I know!!) It's hosted by the EZBoard community, which in general is a real pain, and the format is not very user friendly. They have instructions on how to post pics., but I just can't seem to "get it!":( Geez, I feel like such a dunce there, but it just doesn't work the way it does here! They're getting pretty frustrated with me as well. What's REALLY EMBARASSING is that there doesn't seem to be a "delete post" option, so I have a dozen unsuccessful "test" posts for all to see!:o So, I just want to try posting one more pic. here to make sure that my photo storage site hasn't shut me down since yesterday! Here's Star in all of her Spring glory!:) And Ann, I'm not sure where Eslov is in Sweden, but my father is from Boras. My Mom is from Stavanger Norway! Hi from a fellow Scandanavian!

Wow, Star is so pretty! It's a really beautiful picture I must say, it looks so serene and green *loves the color green* I wonder what she is looking at though...

Oh and Eslöv is in the far south of Sweden, in the Malmö area if you know where that is. I've been to Borås once (I think) when I was in the Göteborg (or Gothenburg as it's called in english) area, and I'd love to go to Stavanger once! Norway is such a beautiful country! :)

Fun to meet a fellow scandinavian here, but it does seems like Pet Talk has people from all over the world! How fun :D

Three (count 'em, three (3)) photos posted by you and not a one of her heart-throb. Olivia had to get up on top of the computer table and sniffie that sweet photo of her precious main cat, the Maine cat. "Oh Oliver, what a hero you are! Just like being a firefighter without the noise! What a CAT you are!" ...

Sorry, she needed to refresh her spirits with a dab of kibble and a brisk nap, but she'll be back to tell her fuzzy knight in furry armor what she thinks of his heroic efforts as a therapy cat.

Sandra, I have seen the puppy picture of Star many times and I never get tired of seeing it, it's the cutest puppy picture I have ever seen. She has grown up to be a very beautiful young lady.
That's a great picture of Cody too, she looks so regal like nothing would bother her. lol
Oliver is his very handsome self, very self-assured. lol
What I want to know is where is Mr. B and Squeekers?
It's a shame, that these places don't allow us to put our pictures on, everyone enjoys looking at each others furry friends.
I have enjoyed seeing you post on our community, but there is no place like PetTalk and the people on here. The only way I know how to post pictures on here is that I still have a homestead website and I do it from there, but they charge 29.95 a year and I think they are going up and then I will probably not renew. It adds so much when we can see other people's pictures.

Hi Everbuddy! AmberLee, Oliver is waiting with bated breath for a note from his beloved! He wishes Mommy would take a more flattering photo of him though!!! He asks that she kindly withold passing judgement on his worthiness until I get a shot of him in all of his "studly" furness!!:)

And Jackie, I agree! Photoposting is getting to be problematic, for sure! Right now I've switched over to "imagestation.com" as a storage place. For NOW, they are letting me post here, at least. Strangely, I can't post them on the LabRet. Forum!!! I get an "error" message that says the server does permit posting of these pics! So, it's only a matter of time, I guess! I think I finally have to take the plunge and make my own webpage for them, if I only to store pics. Remember, that was how me "met!!" I was asking you for help on to make one on Homested! Still haven't gotten there yet! LOL!! A bit later, I will post a pic. of Squeeks and Mr. B. The same old ones!!! Ha!!!;)

Me too, Sara!!! I've been struggling all afternoon to post new pictures. First my film processor threw me for a loop by processing the cd on Microsoft Picture It for the first time, then I have no way to downsize the photographs to make them fit at Pet Talk!!

All I can say to all of you is that I have put the new photos of my girls and boy in Webshots and Photogra. Sandra's ImageStation isn't working at the moment and I'm still trying to get the Netsnapshots to accept me! Waiting on the acceptance email. Th

Pet Talk tells me my attachments are too large. Uh Oh!!! What's a girl to do when she wants to share new pictures????? :confused:

That's why I switched to Imagestation, Logan. All of my files are now too large for Pet Talk! My computer guy, (:D) downloaded f IrfanView for image editing on his last visit. It edits to pixels, bytes, whatever you want, whatever size. I'll look for the link. It think it's IrfanView 3.61.

Logan, can't you resize your pics? When I use attachments, I always have to resize them, I use mostly size 480 pixels (width) and what ever comes with height when I have inserted width. Sometimes it has to be less than 480, depends of the picture.

Photogra has responded to me and ask what I want to do by right clicking (this is becoming an innane correspondence... I struggle with "right clicking" as a verb.)

WIthout sounding extra stupid...is there a correct answer I should give them? Is wanting to copy my photos back to my hard drive "a bad thing"?

That's what I was trying to do, Sara, recopy them into my harddrive so they would be smaller! See, I didn't have time to figure out the resizing thing yesterday, and I knew that if I put them in Photogra then copied them back out, I'd have a smaller version. But it wouldn't let me, so I ended up back at Webshots and did that very thing. I don't think what you're trying to do is a bad thing. Let us know what they say.
