I gave up on their diet; for weeks, they ate the expensive Hill's r/d, but didn't lose weight. But they seem to be hungry now ever since.

For days, they try desperately to open the food bags, Lily even carries them around in her mouth (tried to take a photo of it, but she went away when I came with the camera).

Anyway, the bags are looking really damaged now, seems the girls really need an extra meal during the day. LOL

Looks like the diet did severe damage to their little souls, and so they have decided to help themselves to get some food. Or is it just the predator in them? :D

My dear Lily,
How dare meowmie do that to you? Doesn't she know weight management food is awful? You woiuld be better fed in jail! My meowmie tried to give us diet food too, and when she saw that we were desperate enough to steal the dogs food and tear into food packages like you and Luna have done, she decided the diet must go!
Love,

LOL! I think you better give them the meals they're "entitled" to, or get another container for their food. :D

I've got one huge plastic container, my vet gave it to me for free. :)

I am sitting here laughing at the sight of those packages all chewed on.. You know how that goes, just say the word "D-I-E-T and those hunger pangs go into overdrive! Why should it be any different with them than for us? It is going to take them awhile to get over the fright of that word!

"Could it be that my girls are hungry? ;)"

WHAT was your first clue? :D It looks like they're bound and determined to get into those bags of food! But maybe they were full after eating that much of the bag, so stopped before they got all the way to the food. :D

I agree with Auntie Laura .... just thinking about being on a diet sets me into a ravaging appetite!

How adorable how those little ladies destroyed those food bags. They were thinking "FINALLY, REAL FOOD .... let us at it!!!" :D

The Found Cats are praying that you abandon the Diet Food, and give Our Friends the Food that they crave.
Our Dad has given up,and we love him,for that!

When I bring home a bag of kibble, if I don't put it away right away a "quality control" hole is made in the bag and samples extracted. :D :) :p
