Maya is a very independent cat. She doesn't like to be picked up, or forced to sit on your lap. But, when evening falls, she always feels the need for a good soft lap. Maya, she comes and goes, whenever SHE decides :)

That's pretty much the way Grover is. When she wants to be close to me, she will jump up on me when I am laying on the couch, and sometimes even sleep with me! When she sleeps with me, that really makes me feel special. She used to sleep with me all the time when she was younger. Now that she has grown up, she will sleep at the foot of the bed is all.

Wow, she is a beautiful, beautiful girl. And how well you have all thoughtfully co-ordinated your outfits to show off the snowy white wondrousness that is her sweet paws. Great pictures, thanks.

Samantha is my house lap cat but I have no one here to take pictures and I won't disturb her to get the camera... She LOVES a lap!

My Felix loves it on meowmies chest at bedtime.He comes up and lays down a purrrrrrrs his little heart outand sucks on his sookie blankie :rolleyes: Its very cute.He has done this since the day I brought him home.Its a nightly routine :D I love it!!! :) I have no pictures though :(

oh my but Maya is so similar in looks and actions to Lizzie! Her colors are very beautiful and she has that eyeliner to show off her eyes :) Isn't it wonderful when Maya decides to honor you with laptime?? Thanks!! :D

THANKS!!That is my daughter Indra, she is 16,5 :) No no, I haven't been hiding her; I often post a pic of her :)

I LOVE those picture of Maya on various laps! She is a beautiful girl, and I hope my Annie grows up to be just as beautiful! Angel, Annie, and Shadow ALL like to sit on our laps at times, but ONLY when THEY choose to---not necessarily when WE want them to. Shadow, especially, is notorious for wanting to sit on my lap whenever I'm trying to read the newspaper....
