We used to get fish and chips wrapped in newspaper just like that!

i was thinking the very same thing,as we used to have a Fish and Chip place called Chippys,that used to deliver in newspaper.
And would our Cats come a running,and MMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW until My Dear Mother would give them a piece.
That brings back such warm memories,seeing Squeaks in the newspaper.

How funny! :D I'll have to try rolling Shadow up in the newspaper like that some morning---maybe he won't be so anxious to lay on it when I'm trying to read it if I try that. But it doesn't look like it discouraged Squeak from it much. Hmmmmmmm........
