Snow kitty pics...

[Glacier]

This morning, Boots was pawing at the window to the cat run. We just took a screen out and in the summer we leave it open for them to come in and out as they please. But it's winter here now and way too cold to be leaving a window open all day! Boots did not understand this so I opened the window to explain SNOW to him!

He promptly began hunting snowflakes. It's been snowing for days here!

Felicia thought this was great fun, despite the fact that the snow is way too deep for her little legs. She had to leap to get around!

Pete thought this was the stupidest idea ever and immediately turned to come back in!

Boots and Felicia lasted about 10 minutes before they came back in. The window is again closed and not a single complaint has been filed.

I think Cats like people want what they dont have,until they recieve it.
A taste of snow will do them good,and they are so photogenic posed against the white stuff.
I think the Scrappy 2,has had enough snow for a lifetime,as she was certainly shivering up a storm,this January.
I guess I had better get the Snow Shovel out for another winter.

At least they had their curiosity satisfied. Boots just looks too handsome in all that white snow. Felicia, beautiful as always and Pete is just too cute.

Glacier, how many cats do you have? I remember Boots, Felicia, Pete, Kasha, Glacier and Polly Paws. Am I missing one?

I love the pictures, but I think Pete's reaction was the smartest of the three of them! :D I can't believe that Boots and Felicia stayed out there that long! :eek: I wonder if I should let Shadow and Annie experience snow sometime this winter.. :confused: (If I do, I'll be sure to take pictures and post them! :) if they stay in if for any length of time at all!)

Those were BEAUTIFUL!! Kitties in the snow, BEAUTIFUL!! That first one is breath taking! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Makes me cold just looking at the snow! I had my windows open most of today because it was so nice outside!

The snow is all melted by mid-May, although the lakes sometimes take another week or two to be ice-free. It starts again in September, but that stuff rarely stays on the ground. There is always snow to stay by mid-October.
