Jen was asking about a painting she noticed in this thread: http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=92649 . So, I took some pictures of a couple of them to show you all. Sorry that some of them are blurry. Pepper was trying to "help" me by inspecting the paintings, so I had to hold her back at the same time because even though Bobcat loves these girls, he's not happy about kitties walking on them. :D

Here's the sunset picture he painted for my engagement present.

Walking on the beach in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. Towards the bottom of the picture you can see some feral cats that have been dumped there. :( We go down there every now and then and feed and neuter as many as we can. None of the local agencies have taken responsibility for them and since we don't live in Oregon, it's been difficult to get them taken care of. Oh, I like this painting because my loving husband was sweet enough to uhhhhh "subtract" several pounds from by backside. I wish it was this little and cute!

This was my Christmas present from last year. Our "Three Amigos". Pepper is in her usual attack mode, Halo is in defense mode and Cammie is her usual crabby self. :D

I am glad you posted these! I was trying to see them better in that other thread but there just wasn't any way to fully see them.

Darn! He is really talented! I am always so jealous of such talented people. It is such a special gift to have and he is really good at it!

...for some reason, is so appealing to me!! I can almost feel the bark on the trees in the foreground and I wonder who is in the pretty cottage?? :D

Thank you for the comments. I'll let Bobcat know that you liked his work. Forgot to mention, each painting comes with a little "something extra". I can guarantee that each painting has cat hair mixed with the paint! :D Kuhio (and now Pepper) insist on "helping" him when he paints. (He paints with non-toxic acrylics or water colors). Kuhio even managed to walk across a couple of not-completely dry paintings. Bobcat painted over her artistic "contributions" but if I look closely, I can still see them. :D

Debbie ~ This old cache (food storage building) is a few miles away from our cabin. It is about 100 years old and is slowly "going back to nature". The roof kind of looks like a sod roof, but after 100 years, enough dirt and leaves have collected up there for plants and flowers to grow on it. No one owns it or lives there anymore. We didn't go by there at all this summer, so I don't know if it's still standing. I know I'm going to be kind of sad if I see that it has fallen to the ground.

Bobcat and I were hiking around on year when we sat on that hill for a rest. It was very still and quiet and Bob started to sketch. A momma moose brought her baby by (she knew we were there, but didn't care) and they grazed on fresh birch shoots.
