View Full Version : Baking Cookies with your Cat :)

1. Look in cookbook for cookie recipe.



2. Get cup of coffee.
3. Get cat off of cookbook.
4. Find that special recipe.
5. Get cat's nose out of coffee mug.
6. Go to fridge and get eggs.
7. Get dry ingredients from cupboard.
8. Break eggs in small bowl.
9. Sift dry ingredients in large bowl.
10. Answer the phone.


11. Cat ate eggs; get more from fridge.
12. Get cat out of flour bowl and dust cat off.
13. Get Band-Aids for scratches on hands. :rolleyes:



14. Throw flour out and get more.
15. Preheat oven for cookies.
16. Looking at cat & wanting to bake cat now. :mad:
Cat runs for cover into bathroom.

17. Flour the counter to roll out cookie dough.
18. Big crash in bathroom; run to see what happened.
19. Cat has TP all over floor; stuff spilled
and knocked over on top of bathroom counter.
20. Yell at cat. Cat falls in toilet bowl.


21. Can sense cat is angry. :mad:




22. Take cat out of toilet to dry cat off.
23. Get bandages to cover more scratches :eek:
on arms and legs.
24. Cleanup bathroom.
25. Hear a thump in kitchen ...
Oh Golly ... now what? :confused:

26. Get cat off floured counter in kitchen.
27. Try to pick out cat hairs from flour.
28. Step on cat's tail and get bitten.
29. Get coat, car keys, and go to store to buy cookies!!! :D

:) :) OMG how so so true that is on trying to bake with cat in kitchen.. I laughed till I cryied.. Now I have six babies indoors & trust me its a lot of fun.. :o :p

I generally skip all the steps except the last,as I cannot cook,for sour apples,as my Grandmother was fond of saying.
And none of the Cats has any use for the Oatmeal sugarless cookies,so Im safe there!!

If I didn't know any better, I'd think you put a hidden camera in my house and watched an interaction with me and Payton.

LOL.Excellent Recipie ;) ...this is so true.Everything I do Felix is there sticking his nose into everything.

ROFLOL! I haven't actually tried it yet myself, but I'm sure that this is EXACTLY how it would go if I did! I think I'll skip all of the steps except the last one, especially now that I know the "secret" of it! :D

Sounds like baking at my parents house. LOL!

I buy pre-made cookie dough. ;) :D

That's my favorite recipe! Only I usually double it, since I have 2 cats ;)

How true! I love to cook and Groucho of course must supervise. I spent as much time getting him off the counter as actually putting the recipe together. He has to inspect everything. The solution was pretty easy, Groucho has a prime spot on top of the fridge where he can see what I'm doing and offer his culinary comments and advice. Works for us.....
