LOL you'll never know if you don't ask.....He eats crickets (mostly), silkworms.....which are his favorite. For the most part they are hunters and like live food. He will eat greens also, I don't give him any yet because he is young and just getting his teeth.

His cage has a heat lamp for both day and night, and he also has a UV light for the day time. I'll have to see if I can get a pic of him while he is sleeping. He turns a really cool light green, almost a mint color. He mostly wears (what I call) his "Army" colors.

Is he out of his cage or is he in a glass cage?
From what I was told & read they should be in a screen type cage.

Rex has a rather strange set up......I'll see if I can get some better pics of his house. The bottom is a 50 or 60 gallon aquariam, then there is a "box" on top. It is the same size as the aquariam. The top and 3 sides are plexi glass, and the front is metal cage...I don't really know how to explain it :o He is the most time consuming pet I have ever owned....BUT WORTH EVERY MINUTE!!!!!

Cathy.......Thanks very much, you know I value your opinion!!!! I think I'm getting the hang of keeping him happy :)
