Awhile ago we had 'house tours' and they were really cool, so I though it would be fun to see other peoples yards where they live! Post as many pictures as you want!

-----------------------

Here's my yard, its just from the front yard, we have a lot more yard, behind that gigantic shed  I did a 360 when taking pictures :p

Well we don't have much of a yard. At all. No backyard, just a front yard hehe. But we have the entire lake and beach to play on!!

Actually our yard ends right in the center of that bush. So from the driveway to the middle of the bush lol

But its a gorgeous view

Yes I do, its named "Table Rock Lake". It spans across southwestern Missouri and into parts of Arkansas, if I recall correctly. Too bad the "beach" though is a rock beach so its not too fun to walk on or swim in without shoes lol

That's the side yard, taken at midnight on summer solstice. The little building is my greenhouse.

Goldie's pen, but that's Founder testing the gate. It's in the right hand corner of the yard.

What the driveway looks like in the winter.

Hmm, well, those are the only ones I can find of the yard. Missing large sections of it. Apparently I never take pics of Stuart's shop! I'll have to take some new ones

I grew up in Ozark, MO, outside of Springfield. My grandma had a place in Stone County on Table Rock Lake and I was out there all the time fishing/swimming and "treasure hunting" (for Indian artifacts) all the time. Some good memories. My feet toughened up so much I could walk on those rocky beaches no problem ;). Doubt I could anymore though.

OH YEAH Ozark is like, ten minutes north of me! It's between Branson and Springfield! :) Stone county is right next to Taney county, which is where I live. My grandmother lives in Laurie, MO which is right on The Lake of the Ozarks so I always thought where SHE lived was.. the Ozarks.. when in reality its nowhere near Ozark, MO!!

I don't own a yard because I rent an apartment. :D

Here is the view from outside my apartment. I live on the second floor. I was standing on the ground level below my apartment. This was taken a few days ago.

And in the spring when the snow is melting and the rains come. The creek turns into a river...

I know it's grown a lot since I lived there. Haven't been there since about 1995, that's when we moved to Battlefield for a bit and then the next summer I moved to MN. I worked in Branson for awhile waitressing at Bob Evans Restaurant and grew up going to Silver Dollar City every summer at least a couple times. I loved Table Rock Lake and we also went camping on Stockton Lake. Kinda neat to "hear" someone else talking about those places. Yeah a lot of people think Ozark is on Lake of the Ozarks but that's a couple hours away. Lake of the Ozarks is beautiful too though. Have been to Ha Ha Tonka out there.

The thing I love most about living here though is not just how FRIENDLY everyone is, but locals get discounts... everywhere!! Going out to eat at most sit-down restaurants you get a 10% discount. It's so great! :)

And surprisingly enough I've only ever been to Silver Dollar City three times in my life -- once on a family vacation in 2000, the other time on a trip with my friends in 2003, and then last month hehe. I even get in for free since my fiancée works at Shoji Tabuchi but we never have any time!

I couldn't find any pics of the front yard.

Kimmy....I am in awe of anyone who lives in snow...do you have to chain up often?
Oh goodness no! Thankfully! :D It doesn't get too deep really if it falls straight down. 6 to 12 inches is average. It's when it gets windy and drifts is when it causes problems. The snow plows and salt trucks stay on top of it pretty well though. I still get white knuckles on my drives to and from work. *laughs*

Now being said this was last year, just imagine all the bushes around the porch gone (because of Bon  ) and a gaping hole where the pool used to be (it's now a mud pit  ).
But otherwise it's basically the same:p

"Driveway 1" My parents park here, lol...In my forensics class at school the teacher gave me crime scene tape so I put it on the gate...

Still in the front yard...my dad and his "air mail"

Our tree in Driveway 2...we have plans to carve it into a totem pole or a fireman but in the meantime its just a cute face.

Standing in the middle of driveway 2 (thats the hood of my car) and looking at the "lower yard" The wooden fenced in thing is the pool...

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/kangashrew13/YARD/000_0452.jpg
/\ the big blue thing is the dog kennel, next to that is my sisters "tree house" and the swingset area and sandbox, my mom's swing and picnic table are being stored there for the winter...right in front there is the pond we just put in maybe 2 weeks ago, Jack thinks its his new pool, lol. The car in the very back is my dad's derby car, it was covered with a tarp but Jack decided to climb on it yesterday

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y125/kangashrew13/YARD/000_0462.jpg
Inside of "Jack's kennel"...he is the only one that ever uses it, he chooses to spend the day in there when we're at school instead of his crate, the other dogs aren't allowed to stay in there for any length of time because they bark and then the animal control comes to our house

Everyone (except Jessika hehe) has really big, nice yards! Ours is a decent size but it's really poorly layed out and we have a HUGE deck for entertaining (which we haven't done in years). We also have a pool that isn't usable because Mandy and our old dog Buttons dug a hole in the liner last year. Plus we have massive weeds that we haven't done anything about..

But my brother just cleaned it up last week so if I'm going to get pictures I guess I better do it soon!

You all (well most) have such beautiful yards. Ashley I LOVE your yard!!!!!!!

Well I live in a trailer park so my yard is not the best, it's not too big but it is good size for a trailer park. lol Here's a few pictures from last year/early this year. This year I planted a lot more flowers around the shed & trailer and a 2 big vegetable gardens in the back yard (which you really can't see in any of these pictures anyways). Oh and I have more & better grass too! And for some reason my camera makes the land size always look smaller. I noticed that in a lot of pictures.

The front left of my yard... My property ends about 15-20 feet to the right of the lilac bush righ behind Raustyk, so a little further than her nose. lol

Here I am standing in about the same spot, but a few feet closer, looking more to the right of my property. I have a patch of yard in front of my trailer that is about 16' x 24' or so, but a few feet of the 24' is a flower bed. Then on the other side of the front yard I have another driveway.

Here I am on the same side of my house, standing back even more on my patio looking to the front a little. I now have grass there!
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid168/p70ea3eacd731d1112a5f900616037b09/f42b221f.jpg

Here I am standing in my back yard looking to the back left edge of my property. If you follow Raustyk's nose straight over to the edge of the picture that is about where my property ends, maybe a few feet further.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid168/pb259c2a2831982ca993e36cd44586417/f42b2207.jpg

Here I am standing about dead center in my one side yard looking back. I own right up to that crappy trailer on your left, no it's not mine. They were supposed to tear it down this summer but they haven't. It's empty so I have no neighbors there! My property goes all the way back to the bushes.
http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b372/nanryk/100_0184.jpg

Then on the other side of my house, we mainly use for running & playing, it's all open. I have no pics of it but it's about the size of 2 lots.
Hope I made sense with my descriptions. lol

And lets not forget the yard I have at work since the dogs come to work with me & I'm here about 9 hours 5 days a week!

The property goes way beyond the tree line in the back, there's a huge field there and it continues way over to the left, about double of what you see:

There you go, thats my WHOLE backyard, hahaha... I guess thats what we get for moving into the Projects :) I plan on moving all those gross stones into a pile next summer (we've only been here since sept), so I can turn the whole backyard into a veggy garden. I'll have to put up a small fence to keep the neighbours from stealing my veggies. I also plan to make a small section for Axle to tour outside. If the housing company wont let me move the stones, then I'll have the veggies all around the stones & Axle can have a HUGE place to play hehehe..

I'm not even going to show the front yard, its kinda gross from the other people that were here before us (they were dirty, filthy humans)

ohya. the fence isn't the ugly brown anymore.. they ripped those fences up & put in nice clean ones :) they are the same style, but not rotten & painted brown.

and here I thought I had a nice big yard.. lol I mean I have one of the larger yards in my city but its like 1/4 of the size of most of yours, and ugly as sin. my front yard is the same size as the back, that is where we do any landscaping, we do nothing in the backyard, it belongs strictly to the dogs, in the summer we plant flowers in railing planters on the deck and that is the extent of it lol the grass is in patches, no grass at the sides of the yard, and large dirt patches with holes spread randomly throughout lol and random dead shrubs that my dad planted before he moved, the boys use those as pee posts lol Happy is the only one allowed in the front yard, I live on a VERY VERY busey road that almost everyone speeds through. I will take pics tomorow, is too dark right now lol

Our backyard is a nice size, it's one of the larger yards in our neighborhood (mind you, we live in Southern Cali where yard sizes are decreasing by the second :p).

This is the patio area :

Here's the "grassy part" of the yard.. our grass used to be a nice dark green color, and then along came the dogs.. ;)

The garage area :

Here's one of the side yards :

And the other side yard:

Please excuse all the leaves and clutter, it's been extremly windy over here the past couple of weeks and we're beginning to clean up.

We also have yet another side yard towards the back of the "grassy part" of the yard with a shed lol. It's kind of oddly shaped. :p
