Ringworm?

My dog has a spot on her ear and is always bleeding and she stratches it and makes her lose her fur off of her ear. I told my Ag. Advisor about it and he said it maybe could be ringworm. I was just wanting to know what you all thought about it and whoever has knowledge of it.

I'm not familier with ringworm or what they look like, but I would definately take your dog to the vet.

I agree.......let your vet check him/her out, just to make sure. Ringworm is nasty, and you can get it too!!!! :eek:

Ohh I've had ringworm sooo many times now, its not even funny. Working in a shelter will do that to ya though. In all the cases of ringworm I have seen, I've never seen bleeding involved in it. It could be though that the dog is itching so hard that its causing it to bleed.

I would definately see the vet.

okay, thanks guys. I've had ringworm only once, and DON'T want to get it again. Ugh...
