Hi everyone! My favorite thing about PT is seeing the pictures all of your sweet kitties. A few days ago I got a photo CD from a disposable digital camera and would like to introduce all of you to Groucho. I've looked everywhere on the PT site I could think to try but can't find out how to post his pictures. My computer skills are non-existant and I really don't know what to do. Could someone let me know where I can find the easiest way to post a few pictures? Thanks so very much!

First you will need a place to host the photos! I recommend http://zoto.com because they give you 2GB of space FOR FREE and are the most reliable (more reliable than photobucket, IMO).

After you upload the pictures to a file hosting website, you will then need to find the URL of the photo and link to it and put it between two and tags!

FOR EXAMPLE:

[*img]http://aussiestock.zoto.com/img/45/3a2ad4ea0d240e5bd68b699f0c32e45b-.jpg[/img]
(MINUS THE *!!)

Turns into:
http://aussiestock.zoto.com/img/45/3a2ad4ea0d240e5bd68b699f0c32e45b-.jpg

Alternatively, when you reply to any thread or create a new topic, there is a button that says "manage attachments" where you can upload your pictures straight to pet talk to share with everyone!

Good luck! Hope I helped! :D

Phred has made an excellent tutorial on how to post pictures on Pet Talk

Even though the instructions are for the "old PT" most of the steps still apply. You will need to upload the pictures to a photo hosting site. I use Imagestation http://www.imagestation.com, many here use photobucket http://www.photobucket.com. I've never heard of Zoto ....

^ Because zoto is relatively new. But its amazing the features it has, the amount of space you get, and NO bandwidth restrictions like with other sites such as Photobucket.
