My daughter got into a really bad car accident, and almost died over the weekend.

Here's the newspaper report.

Zoe is doing well. She was pretty stressed out with us being gone to the hospital, but is doing MUCH MUCH better now. More herself.

That's horrible, she was the one changing the tire? :( Oh, my gosh, I hope she gets through this!

That's horrible, she was the one changing the tire? :( Oh, my gosh, I hope she gets through this!

She has two simple fractures of her pelvis and is using a walker, wheel chair to get around.

The 18 year old was drunk driving. And this was his fifth offense. He was also driving WITHOUT a drivers license! :mad:

Yep. Her name is Krissy.

She went without oxygen for at least 5 minutes if NOT longer. It took 7 guys to lift the truck off from her. Her friend Cody's leg was broken in two places. And had to have a plate put in, with two screws and a nail. :(
He was told that he'll never be able to do the things that he used to do. If he tries, he'll end up losing his leg. :(

Oh my goodness. That is terrible. I'm so sorry you have to experience something so heartbreaking. {{{HUGS}}}
I wish she recovers quickly & painlessly. And the same for her friend.
As far as the guy driving, well I hope he gets more than what he deserves. :mad:

How is she feeling now? So glad everyone survived - and that 18-year-old should be JAILED!

She's feeling pretty good. She's VERY sore, but other then that, she's getting around okay with her walker and wheelchair.

She's alittle self conscious about her eyes. She has a VERY VERY bad hemmorage in her right eye. :(
