Our cats lOVE cornbread, especially if there is butter on it. We do not eat it all that often, so it is a special treat for them. If you do the same for your cat, unless it is allergic to corn, I guess it would be OK! And they do not eat whole pieces, crumbs and bits!

Since the Vet changed Kelcee's food and no treats, she will eat ANYTHING. She used to get a spoon of ice cream every night. Now nothing but her food. Not even any tuna juice. She jump on the counter after dinner and tries to lick up any crumbs. She could polish off a nice slice of buttered corn bread in seconds !!

Funny you should ask. My cat, Gabryelle was licking my plate of cornbread and butter write before you said this. That was the first time I made it since I got her. She loved it. I hope it doesn't make her sick. I won't give it to her often so it should be fine.
