...and thirsty!

I took CJ to the vet Saturday morning so they could take blood for allergy testing. Since they had to sedate him, I had to take up the food Friday night. I wasn't sure about the water or not, so I took up all but one bowl, and that was the bowl Peanut prefers and CJ seems to ignore. So this is the treatment I got Saturday morning from two HUNGRY snots.

Where's the water? Meowmie, whenever you put me up here you turn the water on for me. Where's the water?

OK, lady, you're starting to tick me off. I'm warning you, I WANT WATER NOW, or else!!

Just because that brat has to go hungry, why does that mean I have to go hungry too? Please meowmie?

Gee, you've got some nerve. Starve me half to death, deprive me of my morning treats and then try and get pictures of me? Ha, just try and get me to look at the camera! Hrrmmph!

The vet visit went well. He just gave CJ the gas rather than the actual anesthesia (sp?) so he was wide awake and complaining before they even brought him back to me. The vet says it'll be at least 10 business days before I get the results.

CJ was so happy to be back home, and even happier when he realized the food bowls were full again and the tap was back on. ;) However, he was munching away so much that I had to take the food back up again because I didn't want him to overdo it and end up throwing it all up right away. I guess they need to take a lot of blood for these tests, so he was kind of tired the rest of Saturday, but by 4:00 am Sunday morning, he was back to chasing Peanut and being his goofy little self, so there appear to be no ill effects from the blood letting. ;) :)

Making the babies suffer a hunger pain!!! :D
I'm not sure mine would know what a hunger pain feels like! ;)
Glad they are both full and content now.
Fingers crossed for a good report!

Dear CJ,

I had to go to the vet today too.... :( :( I feel your pain....and mine where I got a shot!

I am sorry you and your roommate had to go without food and water. I suggest being real pitiful and you should be able to get some extras. I did.

Brotherly,

Eddie

He looks as angry,as JJJ3 when there are no Whiskas Temptations.
And we too pray for a Good Vet Report.

That's what I was going to say. I'm a little conflicted about allergy testing. What if the results are a little bit of everything, then what can one do anyway? We did the whole testing (back in the prick days) and allergy shots with my Bailey and it didn't help one bit. I guess I'm just jaded because of that.

Ouch CJ! No food, no water from the sink, trip to the vet....we're surprised the ASPCA didn't get a 911 call!
We dread the day The Tribe will have to starve due to someone going to the vet the next day. But we bond when we have to suffer together. Sort of a team thing.

Nice flat airplane ears though - we give your performance a 10!
Good thoughts for a clean bill of health.

CJ, no wonder you're looking angry, that tap should be ON when you're standing there! ;) Now that's is over, take a nap and then go get some treats and cuddles. :) Hope the lab results will be fine. :)
