I got four new babies today from Agua de Bebe (http://members.shaw.ca/aguadebeber/)! :D
I'm really excited about these guys cause I'm planning on having my first spawn in a couple months. If I spawn the steel blues, I'll get some Melanos (black.. my ALL-TIME favorite!) and Steel Blue. And depending on how my first spawn goes (and if I'm up for it again), I'd really like to spawn the Opaque Whites since they're very hard to come by around here (I think the breeder said there was only one other person breeding Opaque Whites in this general area).
The breeder was SO nice. He got excited when I told him this would be my first spawn and gave me so much advice. He even gave me some starter cultures for microworms and vinegar eels, and gave me some eggs for brine shrimp!
Here are a few pics. Sorry about the quality.. my batteries were almost dead when I was taking these.. and the "tanks" that some of my males are in aren't very good for picture taking.

I'm actually kind of worried about him. He seems a bit lethargic. I was really careful when I was acclimating them. But then again, I've had Bettas act like him and then perk up after a couple days.. *fingers crossed*

The Opaque White male, Will (his colors are really off in this picture.. he's much whiter).

And just cause he photographs so nicely, here's one of the guys I got last week, Tom. :D
