I want to tell you about a wonderful man I knew.
One who left this world to soon at only 35.
One who left behind a loving wife and family.
An unborn child who will never know his or her father.
Just stories of his love and deeds left behind and
held dear in the hearts of those he knew.
This man gave to me and my family the life of two of
our pets.
One born with short comings who should have died -
This man shaped and sculpted her mouth so now she
eats, thrives and survives.
The second he repaired damage caused by another.
Every day when myself and family play and care for our
pets we think of him. Dr. John Sowers.
Dr. John lived to care for the animals.
He specialized in Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
I know there will be other vets that will do the same
type of work. But I feel strongly and believe truly
that none will be as compassionate nor as loving
towards the animals as this man who is now gone from
us.
I can still see him kneeling on the floor to play with
our puppy! This is a memory I will truly cherish.
Goodbye Dr. John I for one will never forget!
His family has requested donations be made to:
Dr. John Sowers Fund For Animal Dentistry
C/O Dr. Bill Gengler
University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine
2015 Linden Dr.
Madison WI 53706-1102
Please help us make his dreams a reality! Donate what
you can.
Dr. Sowers was also a strong beleiver in organ
donation to help those in need of transplants. Say yes
on your license - Become an organ donor.

I would like to post this letter somewhere where
everyone can see it to read it. If you have any Ideas
please let me know. Dr. John's passing is a grave loss
to the animal world. If he could save damage teeth he
did. Our little girl has fillings instead of blank
spots in her mouth.
I understand he collapsed with no warning. I was told
it was a blood clot that broke loose.
I'll talk to you soon. Pam
