I have 4 tattoos. I got the first one when I was 45, when my Dad died. It's a red heart with "Dad" on the inside. I'm thinking of getting another one once I get to CT. The guy who did all 4 is awesome and does such a great job!

I have two. A blue star on my shoulder and a butterfly on my neck. I got them when I was REALLY young, and given the choice again, I wouldn't have had them done.

I am planning on getting a cover up tattoo over the star, but not decided what yet.

I don't have one, I'm not old enough [because i think u have to be 18 here to get one?], but I probably will never get one anyways.

Were you even old enough to have a tattoo in gr9 buttercup?

I eventually want to get Simba's actual paw print tattooed on me somewhere. Meaning, I get a print of his paw with ink and paper, then have the artist transfer it onto me. Maybe the girls too, I love them to death, but Simba is my heart dog and I don't know if I want 3 tattoos. Who knows, though.

I got my first two tattoos when I was 17 (I'm now 22) and I dont regret them although I do wish the colors on my butterfly were a little brighter(the man who did my latest one said he could do that for me) I am looking into getting a tribal underneath my butterfly as well as a celtic cross. I haven't found any I really like yet so I will continue looking. If you aren't sure about a real tattoo get airbrushed or get a temp until you are SURE of EXACTLY what you want.

As far as my celtic knot went I asked my tattoo artist what colors I should go for(I liked the style of the shamrock but not the colors on the board) and I told him I liked the brighter green and maybe a little yellow. He made it beautiful :D Also, make sure you go to a good tattoo shop with good references if you get one. Be safe and make sure they use new needles EVERY TIME! Thanks for the compliments I love all of your tattoos as well, they are beautiful.

Tatoos really don't appeal to me...after seeing my mom get rejected from jobs because of a tiny butterfly on her wrist and her trying to cover it up all the time, I really don't want a tatoo. Even though I could get one in a more discreet place I don't think I ever would.

Not to be rude, but why is it so shiny? It's "shiny" in places that have no colour, either. :/

I don't have any tattoos and I have no desire to get any. I don't see the point in getting something randomly put on me that has no meaning; ie, a star (no offense to anyone that does). If I'm going to put something permenantly on my body, it will be something with great meaning to me. And in that case, I'll put it on a necklace or ring and wear it forever. Because those can come off without trouble.

I have a butterfly on the lower left side of my back/waist. Its a blue morpho butterfly and I adore it. I had it done about 5 years ago.

I want another one, probably a cat, but I wouldn't have it where anyone could see it, unless I wanted them to. People do judge you with tattoos, I wouldn't want someone to judge me before they got to know me.

Cute tats, everyone! :)

Not yet but I know what design I want. I just have to figure out where to place it.

I want Kai and Kaedyn's paw prints tattooed onto me (same idea as Kay's). I want a paw print for every dog I get in my life time (possibly with their names inside). I originally wanted it going up the inside of my arms but it depends on if I can get my business successfully running first. I want to make sure I'm my own boss before I tattoo anything on me.

All your tattoos are great! :) I don't have one but have always wanted one and just lately I have been thinking 'why not'. :)

I agree 100%. Thats why I am not crazy about my tattoos. I just got them because I wanted to be the first to get them in my class and to be "cool".

Now if anyone asks my opinion, I say WAIT!

From the picture it looks like it had just been done, I have to put on a jelly solution on my tattoo to keep it from drying out etc. The places that are colorless look like its that way for a reason.

Yes but eventually, the redness goes away. It's still necessary to keep the tattoo moisterized until it has healed.

I don't think it looks like a permanent tattoo.

Like Jackie said, if you're not sure, wait! I waited 45 years!!! :p

What you CAN do is have a "henna" one done to see if you like it. Henna can be washed off.
