One more week and counting...

By this time next Saturday, I'll be well on my way home. My apartment is in total disarray, but I don't care. It bothers me that I have to leave stuff behind. But like I've said before, it's just stuff.

My apartment is cold, so I've got my space heater on high in my bedroom. Poor MooShoo is burrowed under my fleece bathrobe in the catbed next to it. I worry about him getting sick. But he knows when he's cold. Maya Linn is under my covers (I almost sat on the big "lump" while talking to Davidp this morning)

Already got plans for Thanksgiving with my bestest friend Susie and my daughter!!! Our first holiday together in 3 years!! Our ritual is to munch on leftovers and watch "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" with Chevy Chase. Ah, the good ole days!!!

I'll be packing up my computer on Friday night. If you don't hear from me, not to worry. I should have Mark's computer to use when I get there.

Although I WISH the time to leave were already here, I'm glad I've got another week. Still a little more packing to do.

Aw, poor cold kitty, I'm sure he'll be fine, though! That made me feel all warm and fuzzy when you described your Thanksgiving plans, that's awesome! :) And, I know what you're going through. I could only bring home what I could fit in my Escort. :) The rest is back in Texas, still, and, I'm missing a lot of my photos and books and movies and little things, but, you'll get your things eventually. :)
