Took this photo today. It's kind of simple, but I really like the colors:

I just love the Fall colors Kirsten! Our weather here is probably similar to yours, sometimes it's too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, but when we have some perfect spring days with new flowers, or perfect fall days with the leaves all changing colors and cool, clear nights - why it just makes it all worthwhile doesn't it :)

Yes, it does. Our summer was unbearable, hot and humid, but now it's still sunny and warm, and the fall colors and the golden light of October are beautiful!! :) And this year, the colors of the leaves seem to be especially bright!

What a wonderful picture! It really captures the fall mood. We really don't get too much of a fall here...it goes from blistering hot to bone chilling cold overnight (especially this year!)

Wow, that's a wonderful photograph! It's not just the colors, it's the textures and the lines, too...I think it's wonderful! I'd frame that one!

BEAUTIFUL! You do take the prettiest pictures.... I like the simpler things and those colors really bring out the beauty of fall, even in just a few leaves.

Wow. I, too, am into photography and I must say your photography on your website is amazing! :) You are SO talented. If you don't mind me asking, what camera do you use; digital or SLR? And what brand, make, and model?? I'm looking into getting the Konica-Minolta dImage A2 <3

The fall is just the best season for photographing! :)

To those who have asked: These days, I use a digicam, a Canon Powershot A200. There are much better ones meanwhile, but I can't affort those, so the Canon still has to do. It's great for close ups, but I'm not so happy with the landscape photos it takes.

Oh Kirsten, I use a Canon PowerShot A300 hehe. Virtually the same camera. The Canon PowerShot series is the absolute best for the price/quality ratio. I mean I know I take REMARKABLE photos with my camera, and after looking at your gallery you can, too. The ONLY downside to it is no optical zoom, only digital! :(

Exactly!!! I never use the digital zoom, because the pictures are getting blurry with that one! I would really like to have a good digicam with an optical zoom, but I cannot afford it right now.

That really is a stunning picture, so simple so elegant.

I too have a Canon (actually 2 :o ) and they are great cameras for the price).

Yes, in miscellaneous places lol I can never seem to keep my photos in one place..

My friend has a newer PowerShot that you can stick lenses on and also has optical zoom.. forget which model... *does research*

The picture is beautiful, Kirsten. It reminds me of the colors in your apartment - your wallpaper, Luna and Lily's round bed, and that new fabric you used to make the door curtain. I think you like fall colors, yes?? :D
