"They" say, 'never underestimate your toddler's ability to climb'. In less than one minute....Jonah monkeyed up the chair, past the dog treat container, and sat on the kitchen table! I had left the kitchen, where he had been playing on the floor, let the dog in, and came back to this!!! :eek: :eek:

This was Jonah's first taste of cucumber...I am not sure he liked it, judging by his face. AND the fact the pants got most of it..

This one is for Kay. A BAD shot of my brother's dog, Ace (aussie/border mix). That is NOT a litter box in the middle of my kitchen. Jones was having 'water play' while I made some meals....

I'm still amazed at how big Jonah is now! As for the cucumber, I'm with him. Yuck!

How funny, Kelly! I call him my monkey man. He is a huge climber- people, fridges, chairs, shoot, he would probably climb a cat if it held still-anything he can get his little clubs around. :D

Let's hope he never climbs too high to figure out how to get down safely! Yup - he's all boy, half monkey and all mischeif - just look at that face!

You and I seem to have the nickname connection. You knew Basie's and I know your little monkey's. ;)

He's such a cutie. One of the best parts of PT is seeing our baby PTers grow up. Thanks for sharing something so special with us. :)

Sooo proud of himself in that first pic - TOO FUNNY! Jonah is such an absolute cutie! :D I love his corduroy overalls.
My sister just sent a video clip of my little 10-mo. old nephew crawling! :eek: They grow up SO quickly...

i know what you must have felt!!! my kid did hte same to me!!! we where at the kitchen a few months ago and i got up to the living room just to turn off the TV which is like 6-7 meters away and when i got to the tv like 2 seconds i asked him "what are you doing?" and he answered "nothing......." so i ran back and he was on top of the table playing with the ketchup packages and stuff. my fear was that is a round table and if you put weight on to just one side it flips!!. OMG!!

he also gets out of a criblike payground thing (sorry i dont know its name in english, but its like a "corral") by pushing to one side and bending over.

and when he want something from the refrigerator he opens it and climbs to get it.

this little kids are truly amazing, they do anything to get what they want!!

but WE LOVE THEM!!

Hey Joh, you should know that kittens of that age climb and climb. Him being as cute as an Abyssinian kitten it is no wonder he climbs like a monkey :D

Oh MY! :eek: I better keep my eyes on Misha - I think I'd have a coronary if I saw that :eek: That reminds me that my oldest (now 27) was just a bit older and pushed a chair to the counter and I came in to find him on top of the fridge!! Some kids are natural monkeys and it looks like lil Jonah fits that bill :D
