Today I went Upstairs to my rooftop terrace and I found a little visitor. I am pretty sure it is my neighbors new cat. He must have climbed from her upstairs window, but didn't have the guts to jump back down. I watched him try a few times, the big fraidy cat.

It took me about 20 minutes to catch him (the playing with string and a can of tuna alway works in the end). I have never seen him outside before so I wasn't sure if he is an indoor cat only, so he is currently in my downstairs bedroom.

I was waiting and waiting for the neighbors to come home, its now 11pm so I think this cat is spending the night. Its really strange though, he is SO timid, almost like he has never been handled. I don't want to spook him too much, so I am leaving him alone for the time being, but when I go to bed i think he has to go back into the carrier. Or else it will be a sleepless night with the dogs!

That's so nice of you to catch him and to keep him safe till his parents get back!

He sure is a cutie!!! Hope they come home soon...he'd look good with your others. :) ;)

I hope, that he belongs,to those people, and has not been dumped there by Bad Guardians.
That would make your guest a New Cat ,I hope!

They finally came home around midnight, and it took me about twenty minutes to catch him. LOL

I am glad I didn't just chuck him outside which was my first impulse, because he is an indoor only kitty, and I would feel so guilty if he ran off.

Glad you were there to rescue the poor guy; he must have been so afraid!

He's a lucky kitty!

Whew! Boy is he lucky you were there and were able to trap him! I sure hope this makes him think twice before trying to escape again....but unfortunately curious kitties rarely seem to learn the first time. ;) :)

Glad you were there for him. Just don't know what would have happened to him if you had not been there for him. Glad the owners finally showed up for him, hopefully they will be more careful next time.

Willie :)
