I'm SOOOOOO excited!!

Just guess where it is?!?!

Its in a Pet Shop, in the Kennel area!!! I even get people under me!!!

I want to show that I'm prepared & can educate myself.

All I need are different, illness' puppies can get. Then I'll search them online & print the info off, & read it over & over & over, so I'm well prepared for tomorrow.

So far on my list I have:

Parvo
Fleas
Worms (need to find all the diff kinds of worms)

Grooming:
Then I need to find how to properly bathe a puppy, clip their nails, brush them, dry them & whatever else I need to know.

I really need & want this job, ALL help & tips are VERY welcomed.

Thanks in Advanced. :D

If you don't have a lot of the knowledge needed to know for the position you're applying for, then why are you applying for it?? :(

Grooming is pretty self-explanitory; just don't cut the dog's quik while clipping their nails, ummm thoroughly rinse shampoo and conditioner from their coat and make sure to let them THOROUGHLY dry because I know with dogs who have double coats, like Aussies, it can take longer to dry and if not dried properly can lead to skin problems.

I know a lot about caring for puppies & dogs, same with grooming. But what if I forgot something or was told incorrect information. I did care & clean after dogs & puppies at the shelter & I knew when a dog wasn't looking his best.

But there is no harm in learning more & making sure what I know is correct. Also haveing papers so I can show/handout to new puppy owners & the staff is never a bad thing.

Well if you know then don't worry!!! The only reason why you'd forget is if you were nervous. Just chil out, be CALM, don't freak out, and you'll be fine. :P

just remember to keep calm because the dogs react on moods and if the pup sees you panicy then it will be harder to control, make sure ypu make a big fuss and talk to them while you work on them, I find that works alot

Good Luck!!

Yes and no -- you just need to talk soothingly to them, not loud. Baby talk might help :)
