I'm at work now. I just came from the vet.
I brought Frankie in for his eye surgery and for his neuter.
I had to hold back the tears when I handed him to the vet tech...
I did let go and cry in the car.
I can't wait to see him tonight.

Oh, I know how hard that is. Ebony is going to be spayed next Tuesday. I'm already a nervous wreck about it. Frankie will be fine, you both are in my thoughts. :)

*edit* Great pictures! He is such a cutie.

I'm sure he'll do just fine. Heck once he heals he'll be better than before with no sore eye & no hormones to drive him wild. ;)
We're sending good thoughts to you both today!

I understand, just dropping our babies off can be traumatic for us Mom's. I remember the first time I took my first dog just to get groomed, it is the leaving them that is tough. Frankie will be hopping around and getting into things again in no time. :) Hugs to you.

It's just us being Mom's and worrying about our kids. Frankie will be fine and will be happy to see you when you pick him up.

Frankie will be fine. I'm sure everyone at the Vet's office will fall in love with him and treat him like a prince. He'll get extra special attention. You can always call in the afternoon just to ask how he's doing. Maybe that'll make you feel a little better until tonight.

Take care.

:) (((( hugs)))) Frankie's in good hands, and we're all sending out prayers for safe surgery. He'll feel so much better after his eye is fixed! The thing about neutering is that their undersides can really look awful right after surgery, but it usually heals quickly. Good luck keeping him quiet and inactive for a few days-- he looks like a pretty bouncy little fellow!

I thought he wouldn't have to have the eye surgery after all. I know how hard it is to leave them at the vet. The day will be over with before you know it. I'm sure the vet will do a great job.

I know... I was hoping he wouldn't need the eye surgery ... but it came back Thursday.

Thank you everyone for your support.
I will call around 2.00 2.30 to see how it went and ask when I can pick him up.

HEY! The vet just called. The surgery is done and went well.
I can go get him around 4.30 this afternoon. :)
He will have to wear a cone for 10 days for his eye.
Neuter stiches will come out in 10 days.
Oh What a relief. Can't wait to hug him.
Thanks everyone for your support!

:D Yay! Good news for Frankie!! Glad all went well..Tell Frankie that Sahara can sympathize with him...she had to wear a cone after her eye surgery. Get out the camera! They are pretty hilarious having to learn to walk around and use it. Beenie will think it's great fun too! hehehe

Prayers and good thoughts are on the way for Frankie and you. He will be fine. Jimmy has to be neutered once his heartworm is gone. (I rescued him from Tennessee and we are trying to get him well.) It probably won't be until February, but I know he will be fine just like Frankie will. Just promise me you can give me the same comfort in Feb. :p It's easy for us to tell you not to worry, but I know you're going to do that anyway. :)
